Thankyou for this video.I am also a descendant of a first nation in south Africa. The Khoisan people were the first nation of south Africa. I am a descendant of the Griqua tribe. When diamonds were discovered in Kimberley region. The British annexed our land and we were sent on a trail of tears over the Drakensberg mountains. Yes after years of discrimination, exploitation, and European sickness like smallpox and influenza we are also struggling to pick up our culture and roots

My culture is my identity and personality, it gives me spiritual, intellectual and emotional distinction from others. But Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.

love this series thanks for sharing and yes language keep us connected to our ancestors, good our NSW Aboriginal language groups are being supported through NSW Aboriginal Affairs, eg, Wiradjuri and Gumbaynggirr language classes, I know uncle Stan Grant Snr have a book on the entire Wiradjuri language, amazing stuff!! Also, adding to Harry at 1:40min Torres Straits have 4 languages - Miriam Mir, Kalaw Kawaw and Lagaw Ya, then Kriol - its a broken form of english mixed with our lingo, eg, Koori-english, Murri-english etc....where we put our slang into english sentences etc...
