Harry (MacGyver's grandfather) leaves his vintage Nomad car to MacGyver in his will. However, a gang of crooks want the vehicle, believing a priceless diamond pendant is hidden inside.
MacGyver is sent to several locations in a race against a deranged woman and her nitwit son to find an old diamond pendant. He is joined by Cody, and old friend of Harry's, to search for it, with their only lead being several riddled notes left by Harry himself.
After finally finding it in a hockey rink from his childhood, MacGyver and Cody, along with Sister Robin, confront a mysterious (albeit mentally unstable) man, who claims that the pendant is his. Nonetheless, Mac and Cody get it back after one of the most incredible episodes of multiple-personality syndrome I've ever seen...
Seriously... this guy is NUTS!
