Great review Jaxx and welcome to the Lone Star Grillz family!!! You are going to love that pit and I look forward to watching you run it!!! Congrats dude!
Thanks Jeff , it means a lot you taking the time to comment and watch as I know you know these pits and how great they are already. Congrats on yours as well.
Thanks buddy. I'm loving it. .Lonestar grillz is where it's at. If you're interested in getting an offset , I highly recommend them. They even offer financing on their pits. I ain't gonna lie, I have looked and many off sets over the past couple of years and had to refrain from going with some cheaper offsets like at Academy . I subscribe to what I like to call "Buy Once, Cry Once" for example I could pay $500 or $ 600 for an offset and then in a couple of years have to buy another because it rusted out. I figured just bite the bullet and never have to buy another smoker again. I was fortunate enough to be able to check out Rus Jones pit first hand and taste some of the brilliant food he has made on it. I was sold from then on.
Awesome off road smoker Jaxx. Isn't this what Rus has? Awesome details nad build for sure. I think your going to love cooking on that bad boy. Looks like you got all the extras!
Man, Tommy I'm loving cooking on this thing. It's like night and day from the rest of my pits. Everything about this pit is unbelievable. It's built like and tank , no leaks anywhere and I've had no issues dialing temps in. It's turned out the best ribs I've ever made. Cooking some porkbelly on it this weekend. Think I'm gonna try doing a turkey on it as well.
I just ordered the same minus the propane assist. Beautiful smoker. Do your back tires get hot being close to the firebox? I didn't think about that when I made my order.
im sure they are great people but really didnt have a good experience with them no communication with emails and when I called them they pretty much said it was my fault I did get it packaged very well but sitting in my garage not in a hurry to use it
Congrats Jaxx! Yeah, brother LSG makes some of the best pits out there! Look'n forward to some cooks!

Soon buddy. I just bought a prime brisket from Costco today. I'm hoping maybe next weekend if possible. When you home from your hitch?
Would love to see the crossbed tech in action with a biscuit test.
Good luck with that rig brother. I hope you can profit from some side work to make it worth your while. Thanks
What a unit

It appears as the handle is too close to the fold-up table shelf😮
