There’s a class mod(platemail armor set) that converts 30% of all damage into dark magic and I haven’t seen anyone use it yet….Also found a melee build with stabomancer and clawbringer with that armor and the stormsurge melee weapon

I remember when i got my first wave shooting shotgun i was like “this is so cool!” Then i tried to kill something with it and i was like “wow this is so trash”, glad they gave shotguns some attention considering how consistently good theyve been in other borderlands games, it didnt help that the waves often travel slowly and even when you hit your targets it did hardly anything lol (and you cannot hit crits nearly as easily) Edit: the blackpowder ones were surprisingly bad as well, one i found was super accurate but took the entire “magazine” to kill a single squishy enemy
Yup I got mine while doing my first playthrough and leveling. Crossblade is also not only chaos chamber drop cause I did get 2 from Dryl even before I had chambers unlocked.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I got your #1 reign of arrows very early on in my 1st playthrough - it served me well for the next 15 level increases or so - as well as the one you started this video with, even earlier during my 1st playthrough. I’ve just only started the chaos chambers and did not get any legendaries from them or the bunnies yet; I did get about a dozen legendaries in my entire 1st playthrough.

You can get Rogue Imp and Crossblade from other sources other than chaos chambers. I got my crossblade, which I still use, from the area before the Fearamid. and Rogue Imp I got from a random drop
The problem is the magazine size. Top damage isn't sustainable for too long , but if you have passive magazine stat increases ammo, suddenly that top RPM lasts long. You also need Rate of fire passives. IMO the Red Helion was always better, I used both on bosses before the buff.
The gun tops it's mag off on kill so long as keep getting kills the faster it fires(as far as inc to dmg goes according to vid I have no idea). It's impossible too keep up due to low mob spawns and low damage of the gun even "buffed".
FYI, Crossblade is also a world drop. It's not a boss exclusive. I've seen on both Badass drops and Vending Machines. As for Reign of Arrows, it's top tier but it chews up your ammo really fast. Still, the reference in the flavor text, *RAINING BLOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! FROM A LACERATED SKY!!!*

The best shotgun I have seen so far is a purple Torgue shotgun named Bawdyrocker. Get it with Cryo, use sticky and has a low magazine size so you'll be reloading a bunch. Pair that with some shotgun rings and the spore warden enchant that recharges your ability every time you reload and you'll be doing more dmg than a Liquid Cooling BY FAR. Amazing weapon. Edit: you'll need a LOT of pallets.. aim for like x14 or higher. The more pallets the better :)
The hot fix that change the double hit from ice spike has drastically changed the hitbox, the ice spike that comes out of the ground no longer hits certain enemies...animation hitbox colides with target but target doesnt take damage.
@@Aesthethik I would use the regular ice spikes for now that's the best sub ibhave found still have short cooldowns and multiple charges but I'm hoping the fix this asap it killing me lol

Note to you: The Rogue Imp is actually incredibly BUSTED if you playing Stabbo + Spell. Spec into reload speed and once you get 10/10 reload speed in Myth Ranking, the break fix is incredibly short (Yes reload speed effects break repair) also picking up 1 of the reload speed shrines in Chaos Chamber also significantly impacts repair time. Then at that point, it just becomes a flying mess of Raks on the screen hahaha
The imp is a sick gun for Hexecutioner (Claw/Spellshot) since the reload builds your stack and you build for spell damage, the birds on reload get buffed and hit like trucks.
The gyre is probably the best shotgun if you use spellshot spore but spec into the ammo regen and insta reload from spell shot. That's a combo nobody really is talking about atm
the rouge imp is what I was using pre-hotfix for my Morticulturist, the rakks are affected by minion damage and it melted the hell out of some bosses, with the shot buff I will now be doing even more damage.
I like that most of these weapons have something that makes them really strong but have a minor drawback to reel them back a little bit. It's not fun to run around with a perfect weapon and oneshot everything with 0 challenge.
Obelisk boss in tangled drift often drops this. It's not his dedicated loot but I've just found he drops it on occasion but I've gotten it elsewhere too
You missed the Boilermaker. With a 15+ pellet count and a Spellshot it’s completely INSANE. The capstone has a spell reset chance of 20%, so each pellet gets that. You end up with the Buffmeister getting reset every few seconds and being in perma-shred.
I got the Reign of Arrows early on. My lvl 29 already melted lvl 40+ bosses with ease, I can’t imagine what it’s going to do now, much less a lvl 40 variation. Also- you can get the Reign of Arrows in plenty of places other than the Chaos Chamber.
That arrow gun is definitely one of my top favorites, it dropped 3 different times for me from (THE BANSHEE). all of the weapons on this list I have seen drop during campaign as well.
Does anyone else feel like freeze is just super OP? It's so good, it makes it not worth using any other element. You dont really have to swap damage types like in BL2, and that was what i think defined Borderlands games.
It's absolutely HILARIOUS to me they nerfed Dahl AR's... or AR's in general in this game and then buff something like the reign of arrows. What dahl AR was even doing ANYTHING in this game to deserve a 50% nerf? The Gull? It was only DECENT until about chaos 12 then the lack of an enchant just makes it meh. Like everything other AR in this game. Even after the buff the Imp is still a mediocre weapon. It's pretty funny how bad legendarys are in this game tbh.
Agreed, although they received a 24-25% nerf, well my Gull did anyway. That thing was a beast before I found a purple jackobs masher pistol. It should have been given a buff if anything, strong slow firing weapons need increases, not nerfs, and no one used Dahl ARs anyway so it's nonsensical to me. It would be so funny if they nerf liquid cooling.

Just wanted to point this out, idk if anyone has done so yet but the crossblade shotgun does drop outside of chaos dungeons, i dont remember where exactly but i found one while leveling so its not a chaos dungeon exclusive unless they changed it recently
Since I found the cross blade my clawbringer spore warden became much better. I’m still at chaos 5, but so far I am one-shotting simple enemies and have no problem with the bosses, and once my gear gets better the damage will only go up. My try it on a dot build also.
Im REALLY Liking The Epic (Purple) Stovepipe Shotgun. Its A BlackPowder Shotgun With A 1 Bullet Magazine. And With The Buffmeister On Your Right Hand And Your Strongest Spell On Your Left Hand, I Can Easily Hit Over 200K With It 👍 Long Range And Reloading Is Pretty Fast As Well! This Shotgun Is Giving Me Really Good Hellwalker Shotgun Vibes ☺️ But I Think The Red Hellion Shotgun Is The Best 👍
I got rouge imp from totally normal size skeleton or dryl so it's definitely not only from the bunnies if you want one farm skelton in tangledrift or dry'l and if you use graveborn with maxed regen on spell cast reign of arrows won't kill you and you can use it close and even run through it to bait enemies that you might have missed it's my main now i been doing it all day in the chaos chamber
Currently been bossing with an Epic Hyperious x12 shotgun. Combined with the x2000 spell damage modifier I have on the spell of concentration I use, I can literally kill any boss in under 15 seconds unless it's got an immunity phase.
Dear Moxsy, please make proper build out of "Reign of Arrows" shotgun. I would love to cheat off from your build what class, subclass, skills and stuff to pick to use it proper. Love that shotgun btw.
I’m currently using a rogue imp on my Clawborne status effect build and it absolutely melts with status boost and multiple 30% fire on spell cast with multiple charges. Also with grave borne it seems like the rak’s count toward the companion buff, the first one does the most as they die
I'm doing big things with pixie guns as spore warden graveborn with companion damage spell dmg. Make the game auto mode. Just throw the guns and the pixies and your pets tear through it all.
You should review the “queens cry” it’s a very good cryo pistol that rains down snowballs from the sky on the enemy that was shot it does eat ammo quite fast the x2 variant is kinda the needed prefix

something I don't see anyone using is the smg from the Zygaxis quest line (shoots in a pentagram pattern), its carried me from through the first half of the chaos chambers so far.
Rain of arrows dropped from the skeleton apprentice boss on the bean stack for me. Where you get shrunk down. Idk if that’s farmable, but maybe that’s a place to look?
My first time commenting on the channel, but the cross blade shotgun is either a world drop or has a dedicated source from the banshee. On my first play through I had it drop from her.
Great video! Did they also do something about drop rates? I farmed for the liquid cooling yesterday and must have done a 100+ runs on Lissia, and no drops. But got 4-5 of those spells with the watch me unravel text on them.
just heads up the crossblades shotgun can be obtained from world drop i got one at lvl 11 from a chest. Love the content moxsy just wanted to throw that out there. ^_^
Hey Moxsy - love your videos! Just wanted to clarify something - you mentioned weapons in this video like the Rogue Imp of Alarm and the Crossblade of Discipline as "chaos chamber exclusive" - this is NOT the case...I've had both of these weapons drop in the open world, both while leveling and at level 40 just wandering out and about. Probably still easiest to farm from the bunnies, of course, but you mentioned that you wished they did more damage being Chaos Chamber exclusive - this isn't the case!
Is it possible to get the Last Rights out of a vending machine after the quest is complete? I have mine at level 40 and it's great, but maybe a vending machine will sell it Chaotic? Just a thought. just found out you can get class mods with points into blast chill, so you can get that up to 2/1, might be worth looking into if you want to min-max brrzerker builds
Yea I'm doing pretty gnarly damage with this mod haven't found the perfect legendary one yet but holy crap does it out preform the force of nature mod.
I dont know if this has been mentioned yet but I got a crossblade outside of the chaos chambers. On my first character in Ossu-Gol Necropolis before even unlocking chaos chambers.
I got my rogue imp at level 37 as a world drop . Im now 40 and farming before i try the final boss. It still does work at regular level for me. Its in my loadout in case i need fire.
Personally lately ive been using the queens cry with taser and just melting most enemies and bosses with my Spell/stabbo build just pilling lightning damage out the roof it's been absolutely choice
It feels like quite a few legendaries in this game have weird gimmicks (like the Rakks on the Rogue Imp) that honestly hinder the weapon more than help them. Even more so than say Borderlands 3. I understand that it Gearbox's way of trying to make them unique a neat for the D&D feel of the game, but it is annoying when it hurts the weapon more than helps it.

The Reign of Arrows is basically the Hellwalker from BL3 when it comes to how long it can be outlvled and still be viable.

Keep an eye out for high pellet purple torgue shotguns too, 12-15+ with the +18% damage per stuck bullet kinda broken

Use the buff meister spell with pew on it and that gun shreds. I solo chaos 20 raid bosses with just that gun alone. Should be top 3 imo

The nature of how difficult it is to get a volatile of the last rites shotgun. You should dupe it to the community. That would be awesome.

I'm using shamwi w reign of arrows with 110% increased magazine size. By far my favorite set up and now it's got a 47% dps increase !!!

The shotgun that shoots the cross with 2 elements is not a chaos Chamber drop. I got it Just an hour ago from the skeleton boss in the "huge house"!!

Gyre is a weird world, it looks like it starts with a 'g' sound, but it's actually a 'j' sound (Same root as gyrate and gyroscope)
something I don't see anyone using is the smg from the Zygaxis quest line (shoots in a pentagram pattern), its carried me from through the first half of the chaos chambers so far.

Rain of arrows dropped from the skeleton apprentice boss on the bean stack for me. Where you get shrunk down. Idk if that’s farmable, but maybe that’s a place to look?
My first time commenting on the channel, but the cross blade shotgun is either a world drop or has a dedicated source from the banshee. On my first play through I had it drop from her.
I got the first gun as a world drop when I started playing my clawbringer and was maybe level 11 when I got it randomly

I got crossblade before I even ran chaos chamber so yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a world drop given that I got it from one of the later game areas

Not sure if it matters but I hot it from oculus, the obelisk boss from sunfang Oasis. Could be a world drop though.
Great video! Did they also do something about drop rates? I farmed for the liquid cooling yesterday and must have done a 100+ runs on Lissia, and no drops. But got 4-5 of those spells with the watch me unravel text on them.
just heads up the crossblades shotgun can be obtained from world drop i got one at lvl 11 from a chest. Love the content moxsy just wanted to throw that out there. ^_^

The ferieor shotguns with the pixie mod are absolute beast. They also proc blast ghast

bro the imp of alarm i got from banshe 2 times, and got 93% gun damage stat+ 20% gun damage after skill use for 20 sec lol so epic mets
Found the cross blade back in the Mines. Got it from the obelisk.
I got the cross blade in the zomboss map on my first playthrough so it can world drop too
The pixie cryo shotgun was always extremely strong. Haven't found another one since level 20.
Hey Moxsy - love your videos! Just wanted to clarify something - you mentioned weapons in this video like the Rogue Imp of Alarm and the Crossblade of Discipline as "chaos chamber exclusive" - this is NOT the case...I've had both of these weapons drop in the open world, both while leveling and at level 40 just wandering out and about. Probably still easiest to farm from the bunnies, of course, but you mentioned that you wished they did more damage being Chaos Chamber exclusive - this isn't the case!

Reign of Arrows is my favorite gun to use in the game
The red Helion paired with the peg leg would be a nasty combo. One melee and you get 3 pellets added and then have +40% reload speed.

Is it possible to get the Last Rights out of a vending machine after the quest is complete? I have mine at level 40 and it's great, but maybe a vending machine will sell it Chaotic? Just a thought.

The Imp can also be a world drop as thats where I got mine from and I've never set foot in Chaos Chamber.
just found out you can get class mods with points into blast chill, so you can get that up to 2/1, might be worth looking into if you want to min-max brrzerker builds
Yea I'm doing pretty gnarly damage with this mod haven't found the perfect legendary one yet but holy crap does it out preform the force of nature mod.
I dont know if this has been mentioned yet but I got a crossblade outside of the chaos chambers. On my first character in Ossu-Gol Necropolis before even unlocking chaos chambers.
I got my rogue imp at level 37 as a world drop . Im now 40 and farming before i try the final boss. It still does work at regular level for me. Its in my loadout in case i need fire.
Personally lately ive been using the queens cry with taser and just melting most enemies and bosses with my Spell/stabbo build just pilling lightning damage out the roof it's been absolutely choice
It feels like quite a few legendaries in this game have weird gimmicks (like the Rakks on the Rogue Imp) that honestly hinder the weapon more than help them. Even more so than say Borderlands 3. I understand that it Gearbox's way of trying to make them unique a neat for the D&D feel of the game, but it is annoying when it hurts the weapon more than helps it.
