To be fair, the ones that played the greatest role in extinguishing life on Earth (Horus units) weren't even reactivated. A single active Horus would've meant a game over.
@@caav56 Yeah, you're right. We're lucky that the Horus units in the game are deactivated, but can be still found around the map

lost count of how many times i died here. but finally did it, thanks to this video and the comments
btw i did it without any special armor and used only precision arrows. the trick is to land as many hit as possible in the highlighted area near the head. and also the legs when it reveals them from time to time.
I'm stuck here, but I see you have more weapons and/or skills than I do. What I'll try to do and didn't think until now, is jumping and shooting (so automatically gets in slow motion). I've already tried like 5 times. I guess I'll try a couple more and then I'll continue tomorrow.

After 5 tries, i managed to kill that Son of the bitch. Just keep use normal arrow and hit its both upper cannon and get the purple for 95% of your shot. Move around left and right as it will comes down hard on you. Whatever it is, keep the arrow shot going. All the time. Good luck
I managed to defeat this part in only one go. My advice if anyone sees this is to have your shield weaver armor, LOTS of potions and a full medicine bar for in case. Fire and blast ammo are LIFESAVERS so please be sure to keep those on you as well! I spammed blast bombs from the shadow blast sling lol
I had to do this level again with just hard shoot arrows. My method was just running around it until it was down on its knees and shoot at its orange bits until it did significant damage. Took me ages to hone my skills.

Man I haven’t played this game in a long time and as soon as I get back to it, it’s right against this villain. Why aren’t by arrows doing any damage? Help!
Sorry for the late reply,youve probably done it already,but you could use your focus to scan the deathbringer,that way it highlights its weak spots that deal more damage,hitting those spots are more effective then hitting the unhighlighted spots

The best way to defeat it is to get as many allies as possible (Erend, Varl, Talanah), use Fire Arrows or the Sling (for Fire and Shock Bombs, since the Deathbringer's body is weak to it), and pay attention to the orange components that usually pop up out of the Deathbringer's body during certain idle animations or when its core overheats.
Hit Precision Arrows at the orange bits when they pop up, but be quick; if they hide before you manage to land it, it will be a waste of ammo and damage. While applying Fire at the DB, you can aim for the cannons and the other armaments using Hardpoints to sink in some damage. Always run around the Deathbringer at a 90° angle to avoid getting nicked by the guns. Shield-Weaver is the best outfit for this fight even in post-nerf condition; the shield helps you tank some stray damage to prevent over-consumption of healing.
This is super late, but I managed to defeat this deathbringer in one go using the shadow blast sling. This thing plus the shield weaver armor are your best friends when it comes to this stuff, also use fire bombs and other fire stuff. And don’t forget tearblast and precision arrows! And about the other machines charging at you just try your best to pay them no mind. Hope this helped for you and others!
i just finished the game and id 100% recommend using precision arrows to shoot at the top 2 missile launcher things

I played on Ultra hard and this battle was so much easier to me than the Fireclaw and Thunderjaw in Frozen Wilds DLC because Erend, Sona and Varl are basically immortal and really powerful warriors. They really took the heavy lifting in killing the minion machines Ravager, Longleg and Corrupto with my occasional tearblast arrows.
what kind of difficulty is this? easiest? i picked normal. Destroyed all its weakpoint but still half HP left, then time out all the time. I ran out of potions and fire arrow, shot with normal arrows dealt -3 damage only

Wow I'm gonna suffer when I get round to this (playing ultra hard difficulty). I'm not even worried about hades, I'm worried about the fucking corruptors and machines
I killed the bastard using only fire and stock arrows on the hardest difficulty, probably one of the most stressful boss fights ever!
ANASPAN it is the most stress full boss fights
Or in an easy way turn the difficulty to story to make to very easy

I have all skills unlocked but I'm not able to shoot multiple arrows at him , how are you doing that, and are you jumping while shooting arrows?
Doolinchic~If you have all skills unlocked... all you do is while you're holding down L2 (on selected arrow/weapon), you hit R1 either once or twice each time you load your weapon. When you do that you take your one arrow and add either 1 or 2 more, for a total of 3 if you like each time you fire your weapon. Good luck & have fun!!

I completed the game and got leveled up a few times but after it told me about new game+ I clicked continue after that it said quest complete the face of extinction but the looming shadow was still available and I looked at the quests to see if everything was ok but it told me that I haven't completed the looming shadow and it didn't say anything about the face of extinction but I kept all the loot and xp and skills that I got so I just clicked on new game + I just completed it now and it's still saying this

The game saves itself at Looming Shadow even though you’ve completed the entire story. There’s nothing wrong with your game, it is exactly how it is supposed to be like.
