- In this video I want to explain why trading an FVG / Imbalance / Fair Value Gap does not work (as you think). Instead I use level at which we see high Volume with a fixed Volume profile because these are the levels of liquidity that are cleared in pullbacks / retracements.

you missed the part where you don’t just take a trade based on any fvg you find. there’s a specific market behavior you look for first then enter on the fvg following that
What is the specific market behavior you had in mind?
exactly i tried explaining but he stuck on retail. he don’t care for that type of tape reading logic behind algo
That’s too subjective
@@Prince-mn1fi it’s logic, there’s either consolidation, accumulation, or distribution. requires patience and top down analysis including your own model.
if you just go off of support and resistance, that person probably has huge SLs going for small RRs or missing full potential of a continuation.
just my opinion
@@KonockusSashington can you explain please for a beginner?
Hypocrisy at its best, Just because you cannot make it work for you, doesn't mean it does it work, it depends on what the narrative
i came here just to see the dumbshit and i wasn’t impressed. hope he likes the view and thumbs down 😂
Nice video.. but do you have any specific video on volume profile? how to use it exactly for day trades?
Appreciate your honesty ❤️ , otherwise people are making and appreciating ict videos just to take views , we don't want to trade in low volume session then why we should place our trade in low volume area , simple logic ❤️👍
people don’t even grasp the whole ICT SMT concepts and just fail on their own ignorance; logic.

Hello, may I know what is the exact range should I select? The breaker or the order block? Thanks.
lovely insight!
You literally have videos teaching FVG strategies, why would you say they don't work now? I'm confused bc I was trying to learn them
Hi can you explain how you place the indicator? I cant seem to understand that part
How do you determine the area (to the left) used to measure the profile? Interesting concept. I'd like to BT but would appreciate the guidance in what to measure.
Yes, i wonder the same. It seems like his placement is so random and no proper explanation is given.
Nice. The second trade you showed was a breaker block with a FVG inside it, no? Nice confluence in that case, BRB + FVG + VP
Can you explain how you place the fixed range v profile? What is the start and the end time you choose?
You can try just the leg that broke structure or if you are interested in the POC of a consolidation range then you draw it over this range.
1:01 Notice that the price returns to the so called "sell-to-buy" area, and that is where the largest volume is displayed by the volume profile.
Nice video love ur content
Glad you enjoy it!
How can i check volume profile?
finally somebody with sense, it should be noted volume profiles show HISTORY only, volume was traded there.
Yep
How come we pick the red line and not the imbalance (with 0)
I have only tested FVG for a few days, and the price seems to respect that very well. Sometimes, even too well. Most of the time, price wants to go through but does not have enough power.
Watch the video again and I hope you will understand why this is not due to the FVG per se but to the area on the left of it.
The fvg you should take is the one that has a inversion FVG on the other side :).
No
he don’t know shit bro just let him cook 😂
Very nice.
Thank you
What was that volume indicator u were using?
Cheers.
Fixed range Volume profile.
As for which FVG or breaker or orber block to use. Use the one in discount zone if buying setup comes and choose the one in premium zone of fib ,when trading sell side
Makes no sense, FVGs are not respected by price, what is respected is the area on the left side of FVGs (if there is volume)
@@TheTradingGuide There would be no FVG without volume.
@@TR-vb3ni Wrong. At an area of imbalance / FVG is no volume. Draw a fixed range volume profile and see it. At an FVG is a lack of volume.
@@TheTradingGuide No, that's not what I said. The volume occurs before the FVG is created...it is created by an overwhelming amount of volume in one direction, so the opposing side does not have the opportunity.
@@TR-vb3ni Yes, it is called accumulation (long) or distribution (short), But after that there is not necessarily an FVG created.
I disagree, fundamentally, fvg mean a block of order sitting there, not executed, so basically it’s limit order liquidity, when liquidity not present in the market, it wouldn’t be high trading volume, the whole idea about fvg is sitting liquidity wait to be filled, and algorithm would drive the price back to fill these order to generate liquidity for the market. And when price come back to fill these order, if price just pass the gap like it’s nothing, meaning there is’n’t enough selling or buying pressure -> inefficiency which indicate a side of the market isn’t strong enough and heading for reversal
Ict said time and price. Time comes 1st.

?
this FVG never can work in 5 minutes frame. you need minimum 15 or 30 minutes
"in the 5 minute timeframe" instantly lost me lol
FVGs are overrated in my opinion and I am an ict Trader. I use volume profile too but also you have to get good at seeing accumulation in general
FGV does not work every time, just like the volume profile does not work all the time. No one enters with the FGV alone.
It is not a question of: Works all the time. The FVG is an area without liquidity, price has no reason to stop here. If price stops inside an FVG it is because on the left side of the FVG is an area with high volume, this is what people have to understand.
the fact that it does not work for you doesn't mean it doesn't bro
GOOD ONE
didn't watch the vid just came by to leave an message to the boys
my an good old friend of my dad has an 93% winratio only using semafors and fvg's
im currently learning the strat its possible boys
What do you mean by semafors?
ass 😂
fvgs work fine they give you the best risk to reward you don;t know what the hell your doing with them
