I used to touch my pits ears and tail also while eating. Just in case little kids might be around one day while she was eating. That's the first things kids navigate to with dogs. I really miss my Lady Redington. 😭
Could never understand people who abuse and mistreat animals especially dogs.. Watching Zeusy as a puppy and now Percy I'm starting to think the creator made dogs man's best friend to teach humans how to interact with each other especially during these last couple of years.. Everyone out there stay blessed including dad, Zeusy and Percy..
God didn't create dogs, humanity did. It's an artificial offshoot of the wolf, formed through thousands of years of selective breeding by humans, till it bears only a superficial resemblance to its forebears. No other species of domesticated animal has undergone such radical change as the dog. And there's a lesson there: if dogs are practically our children, being created by the hand of man, than they deserve the same ethical treatment as our human children, no more and no less.

Aw seeing Percy excited for his food reminds me of when our pit bull was a puppy. The second he heard the crinkle of the dog food bag he's howl and come running. He'd bark and do small bunny hops, and he'd wait for the 'go eat' command big shining blue-green eyes. He's becoming an old man now, he turned 8 this month. He still thinks he's puppy sized 😆

Yours is so gentle. I have a 2 month old doberman puppy and he is an absolute fiend for food. Eats every meal like he hasnt been fed in a week. He will hound on any food/water he finds in a heartbeat and gobble it up in a few seconds

100% I did this with my Staffy and American Bully puppy and both are great around food.
