- Exploring the relationship between architecture and nature, D Fin House is designed by Craig Steely, located on the slopes above Kealakekua Bay, Capitan Cook, Hawaii . Built in 2020, the surfboard-inspired residence takes advantage of the rounded-shape geometry, persuading Kona coastline’s perspectives from the house openings. Dive into this project with natural sounds of the Hawaiian environment as its soundtrack.

Love the flow and simple lines of the architecture...This house is like a glimpse of paradise, I never imagined a house like this even existed...This design is a prime example of what existing with nature feels like, but disturbing the peace of the place... This title could also be misconstrued in ghetto speak, ie "dee f'in" house. Too bad only a select few on the earth can enjoy spaces like that but that's the way it goes, residential Paradise isn't cheap.
