Despite this movie being critically panned this is so much better than the 60s Underdog cartoon. I discovered the cartoon a year before this movie came out and I loved it so much.
This Rock version is more similar to the original and first song (Underdog cartoon), than the rap version.

Sadly, that will never happen now that Universal and Dreamworks owns Classic Media, the company that owns the rights to Underdog and his friends and foes (as well as the fact that Disney would rather stick to the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
