Lol i worked there, and i worked pleanty of overnight shifts.
Yes wierd stuff happened, but naturally the urban myth is bigger than reality.
"Johnny" was more of a prankster. Like you clean a section and just as you finish something at the end of the aisle would fall of the shelf. And when you went to pick it up, something on the other end would fall off. This. Ouldnhappen a couple times.
Sometimes he would push a shopping cart a few feet, or turn on the taps in the bathroom.
Honestly it was more entertaining than scary.
The only peron i know who gotmscared was a new seaonal employee who insisted i tell her all the stories about Johnny. One of the night gipuys hears me telling her the sroties and decided to mess with her. He started throwing stuffed ani als over the aisle, making bqnging noises and rolling shopping carts past her... she quit that night.
Beyond that no one who worked there was ever freaked out.
