Seamstress? tailor shops? Is this back in the days when people had their clothes made? My adopted grandmother worked in an upscale mens clothing store, but it went bankrupt in 1991. Most places now have racked clothing although a few still provide tailoring.
What a kind taxi driver who ghelped Shannon get a job at the hotel and gave her money even though she was a complete stranger to him. Shannon too was as kind as the taxi driver. She helped a poor pregnant woman who was freezing in a snowstorm who came to the hotel for shelter. Despite the objections of Frank the hotel administrator. Shannon l sneaked the woman whose name was Thea. name was Thea, into the hotel and allowed the woman to stay into her room. The next morning Frank heard that Shannon had let the woman into the hotel. Frank heard about this. stormed into Shannon’s room yelled at her and fired her giving her half a month’s wages. He also kicked Thea out of the hotel. She gave Thea some of her money and they parted ways. Shannon could not get a job and nowhere to live believe. She decided to go back to her village. She packed her bags and went to the train station.Thea in an expensive car drew up to her. To her surprise. the driver of the car was Thea who was dressed in a beautiful dress. Thea told Shannon that she had met her long lost father who was a wealthy man. Thea took Shannon to her father’s country mansion. There she met an elderly man and Thea’s little
baby Tommy.Thea told Shannon that her father was in love with her mother but had left her and Thea)s mother became pregnant with Thea. When her mother died Thea was sent to live in an orphanage . Thea’s father later married a woman who was a widow with a son. It was not a happy marriage. His wife and stepson were only interested in his money. He suspected that his lover Marcie whom he had left had a child. He hired a detective and discovered that Thea was living in an orphanage. He took her to live with him. He wrote his Will leaving everything to Thea. Mr McDonald’s stepson tried to kill Thea. She told her father about it and he had the scoundrel charged in court for attempted murder. Later Mr McDonald hired a detective to trace Shannon’s origins and how she had ended up in an orphanage. The detective discovered that Shannon was also his lover’s daughter. Marcie had given birth to two girls. Shannon and Thea were overjoyed to find out that they were sisters. Mr McDonald invited Shannon to live with him and Thea which Shannon gladly accepted. One day Thea took Shannon back to the hotel where she had worked before and announced that Shannon was now the new owner of the hotel. Their father had bought the hotel for Shannon. The first thing Shannon did as the new owner was to fire Frank the administrator. She had known that he was an untrustworthy man who had been stealing hotel supplies including even toilet paper, one day McDonald took Shannon and Thea to an art exhibition. There they ran to Kyle Shannon’s former fiance and his mother. Her father knew them both and introduced them to his daughters. Shannon told her father that she was acquainted with them. She sarcastically told him that Kyle was a handsome and kind man and his mother was a sweet and caring woman. Kyle’s mother was furious about being humiliated by Shannon. As for Kyle he thought that he had never seen h look so beautiful. He regretted listening to his mother and abandoning her without any money and nowhere to live. But it was too late. Shannon was no longer interested in him. In the meantime, Shannon, Thea and their father and little Tommy loved happily in the mansion. Neither Shannon nor Thea were in a hurry to get married after their bitter experience with men.

Shannon is an amazing woman. She help this poor woman. The hotel manager is very unkind. But kindness always bring blessing. Shannon was desparate when she was fire from the hotel. She could not find any work so she prepared to go home but at the station she met up with the woman she help when she has no way to go. But now she found her father and he us a rich man so her life was change. Shannon was lucky that her father before put all his property to his biological daughter. The step mother and her son want to get everything from her but lucky they were exposed. Shannon look after her father and live happily. Thea and Shannon become best friend. Thea and her father the hotel where Shannon used to work. Thea told Shannon the hotel belongs to her for helping her during her tough time. Shannon was surprised and happy. Now she run the hotel and help her parents. What a nice ending for Shannon.

Orphanages must get a DNA test done for every child. Who knows what they will find? They owe it to the child and to any relation who either doesn't know where to search or unaware they are related to a child in that place.
