1: Chases whoever is holding the aparatus and does 5 damage until they die or
2. A monster that sits on the apararus, making them extremely heavy and does 10 damage every minute (while holding).

Probably rather expensive for what you get, just to give an example one of the vending machines by one of the stores in my hometown costs two dollars and seventy-five cents just for one 20 once size bottle of Coca-Cola.

To answer doug's question, I don't think I've used a vending machine within the last 3 or 4 years. I used to travel a lot when I was a kid so I would end up running into them a lot more often, but I don't travel much anymore so I haven't seen many of them.

I needed a good laugh, in the span of a the few hours I've been home after a 4 hour car ride through two states known for terrible drivers, I've had to do two days worth of laundry, vacuume the house twice over, mop, and deal with my older sister yanking my hair, slapping my arm, breaking my glasses, cursing me out at the top of her lungs, and trying to stop her from throwing herself out of her wheel chair
Dougs question: I don't use vending machines too often anymore, but we used to have some in my high school. I'd use it sometimes in the morning or later in the day, they sold snacks (usually healthier ones), water, and soda, the soda was only available before or after School. I would buy a soda on days I was super tired before school started if there was any left... hard to keep those filled when you got 2,000 students, not counting teachers and other staff. xD

To answer Mr Doug question: yes I have used many vending machines and two things have been stuck. The first time I had ordered something like ages ago and the lovely guy got it out for me. Then the second time I went to a different vending machine at the other campus ( yes there are two campus at my university’s) and I had bloody kitkat that got stuck. I had to ring a number that didn’t pick up. They’ve put a sign on said vending saying to ring that number and the shop beside it has nothing to do with it 😅. That kitkat cost £1.20 for a fucking chocolate
