I’m Sorry to hear about Bluegrass great Bobby Osborne. He passed away last week. My favorite singer. His harmonies with his brother Sonny are beautiful. Humble man, and Korea war veteran. Rest in peace my hero.❤😢

I heard the Osborne brothers at a blue grass festival as a child in 1968 in North Carolina. Right after Rocky Top came out on the Country charts. Nobody sings like Bobby. He always delivers every performance. Fan for life! Can’t beat great harmony.

One of the highlights in my life...saw Bobby and his son's at a retro fitted barn in the back roads of Kentucky ,fall of 2019..Sonny was recouperating, and he had one of the best banjo players , I have ever heard ,standing in....Lincoln Hensley ...AMAZING and that Bobby, is one class act ..making a room for the next greats..💓

Love the Osborne Brothers, I was introduced to their great music and all the wonderful performers by a great friend of mine who passed away a couple years ago. He attended all of the Beanblossom festivals until his death. Sadly, I feel that the festival has lost its charm with the new ownership. We last attended the festival in 2019 and I miss him dearly, he was a human encyclopedia of bluegrass. RIP Jerry Downey, I will forever cherish our friendship. ❤️
