I think it is mainly you who want rid of Meslier, It wasn't him that cost us promotion, it was the rest of the team who just didn't turn up and bottled it.

He's absolutely terrible. How can you be 7ft 10 and weigh around 6 stone and STILL not be able to save those slow, average shots at goal? Was overhyped at first and to some he's still that keeper. Nice lad, poor keeper.

I find it astonishing that Marseille can't afford Meslier. Just a season ago they were listed as the 20th highest revenue generating team in the world at approx 258 million euros.
I'm happy Leeds are sticking to their guns in terms of asking price for our better players, but I do think upwards of 20 million for Meslier is somewhat taking the piss.
So if it was the wage, surely that’s Meslier’s own unwillingness, and means he wasn’t going as number 1, since Lopez is on significantly more than Mes’ 40k.

Guess what? the other teams did score or actually played a striker that could score for them!
If Marseille can afford the transfer fee, but not his wages, Leeds should take a reduced fee that will pay for his reduced wages. Take £15m instead of £20m. Get shut of him. We can get better than him.
