- First and foremost. I'm a licensed / professional pyrotechnician. This video is made for educational purposes ONLY. When handling fireworks, safety is always my number one priority and should always be your number one priority.
Now to the video description: This is the full version of the pyro / fireworks course LJ Fireworks is hosting once or twice per year for pyros who want to take their passion for fireworks to the next level and get their professional license. I had the pleasure joining them this year, recording when they shot their fireworks and much more.

Hand lighting QM on shells is surely insanity! Especially, as you'd have no chance to run to safety if it doesn't lift 😱
Only chance: turn away or go prone immediately if you recognize anything else than a lift-off. And always wear your protective gear! I´ve done that by myself on a pyro course some years ago, you cannot imagine how fast those things go off (even on Andy´s video which is very close, but in reality it is somewhat different again)...

Yeah it's double the size of the biggest shells in the show 😂 The two 6" Ricasa kamuros in the end were really good irl, hard to capture on video.
@@AndyThePyro double the diameter means an eightfold in volume!

Andy, Really enjoy your videos. You do first-rate work! I wish all the kids who order fireworks on the internet would watch this. Particularily the direct lighting of quickmatch! It is dangerous when you know what is going to happen. Speaking of which, I had never seen a shell loaded upside down in a launcher. I was surprised that it totally destroyed the tube like that. Good to know! Thanks again my friend!

A great video and content. The 12 inch Shell was beautiful. If you like fireworks come to the Netherlands and enjoy wireworks on new years eve at another level. In 2019 we ignited wireworks with a cost of 77 million euros. 🤩🤩🥳🥳

Good video and beautiful fireworks! It was fun to go to the C-education, now i am finished with all my educations. Now it's just to fix storage and permits i have left to arrange, i long for the permit so i can also shoot fireworks that require a permit in Sweden, i will be so happy when i finally have the permit!

Everyone is talking about the (gorgeous) 12" shell, but I'm seriously impressed by the 2 camuro shells before the 12" and those 2 salutes. Can you say something about the brand and the size of them?

I'm happy you ask and I totally agree, those two kamuros were great 👍🏻 it's two 6" kamuro from Ricasa in Spain. The salutes are from Marti, the ones you see in the presentation in the beginning.

@@AndyThePyro Yeah It would be in thier best interest to just ship all their products to you. (one of each ofcourse) Your video's have on average 3 times as much views and show the product in the best possible way. In my opinion you are tied on AV quality to "hiramu55bocaboca" The fireworks he shows may be more spectacular, but the close proximity to the fireworks give a better "feel" of the power of the shells

Need some leader fuse on that quick match. At least a few seconds to clear in case of ground burst or failed lift charge.
Entire point of that excersise was not to have it and feel the power of professional fireworks. Leader fuse? Could’ve used the firing system in that case.

Haha I can imagine. I've actually only seen it once before. In Sweden, cakes that need external support are not allowed to be sold. Perhaps that's why it's not as common.
It was a great couple of days. Think the course is 4-5 days, I was just there for 2.

Magnificent! Am I the only one to notice the heart at 16:16?! When a company buys something as expensive as a 12" shell, is there any recourse if it happens to not work properly or become a dud?
Is OK to have that big shells in Sweden? In denmark we can only fire 6 inch shells, as a pro pyrotech

Hey, it seems like they had a good time there! And you too But the one setting of the show will need some practice, everything was set off much to fast in the show! All cakes was mixed in each other..

I could certainly do that, nice idea. However, it would most likely be a bit misleading since the prices where I live are off the charts. But I'll try to do a video on it in the near future.
