    I’ve had this wagon for almost 2 years and use it every other weekend for travel baseball, so it gets a ton of use and has been beat up constantly as we do travel ball March through October.
    Pros are that it’s really sturdy, the size is huge and can fit tons of stuff, the material is quality and I’ve only had one spot wear a little after so much use. It has convenient zippered pockets, the side netting works for snacks, drinks, trash and I can put camping chairs on the sides, if needed. The tires are better than most competitors and having brakes are a must that many competitors don’t have!
    Some items to note are: I tried this at the beach once and it was a no go. The tires are too narrow for the beach, so if you are looking for a beach wagon, this isn’t it. The cup holders are barely useable. Cups will fall off with the slightest touch. I use them to set things for a moment and that’s it. I’ve had many drinks knocked off into the wagon. The nice thing is that the netting can hold water bottles, so we use that most of the time. Also, one of my cup holders caught something in transport and broke off, so it seems like it would be better without them. It’s connected to the wagon material and corner, but I was able to zip tie the corner back on through the ring grommet. The mesh pocket on one side finally got a hole in it, but this is after hundreds of times of use and I’m not sure what caught it. Folding it back up is a pain, but maybe the bars on mine were not quite right to begin with. I have always had to coerce it shut since I got it. I probably should have used the warranty, but by the time I thought about it maybe being an issue with mine only, it was past warranty. The other option style of folding that other wagons like Max sports have are much easier in my opinion, but they do take up more room folded than this one and I don’t think are made as well and would last as long! My Gorilla wagon has taken a huge beating and is still going! At one point my husband pushed too hard folding it, forced it closed instead of coercing it like I do, and bent the frame, so it’s harder than before to close. I also don’t like the bottom padding that has to wrap around it after folding. The straps don’t stay in place and make it a pain to try to close. I used to lay everything on the ground and then try it that way, but I usually just skip that part now and put it in my trunk without the cover, setting the cover/bottom aside. My husband also left it in the rain, then closed it, so the fabric has mold. I can probably just spray it down and scrub it, but I’m probably just going to order another one. I’m looking at different options right now and I really can’t find another wagon as good as this one. My only problem is that I have a 10x10 pop up tent and it’s a pain to lay it on top of the wagon and then try to get to everything else, or have it half in. When it rains and I’m trying to cover my other items, the tent is in the way. It does hold the weight just fine and I can pull easily too. Just wish there was an option for one that had a back that opened or if there was an extra long option for items like my tent.
    In conclusion, if this had a better option for my tent and was less cumbersome folding, this would be the perfect wagon for me. Even with any issues I’ve had, this wagon is the best on the market that I’ve been able to find.

    I will probably regret this tip due to possible future availability as always being out of stock but here goes. Haha
    Get some plastic sheeting and cut to suit length as a cover for your cargo, or use a tarp if you can find a small enough one.. Have it long enough to drape over your load and down the sides of the wagon some. Then go to Harbor Freight and pick up a couple bungee straps they sell there. They are 4 feet long and have ends with carabiners on them. 2 of them combined are long enough to wrap around the outside of the Gorilla wagon to keep the plastic sheeting in place. Now you have a system to help keep rain off your cargo. Of course this may not work as well if you have something long protruding out the sides/back of the wagon, but it's good if you're making a grocery run on foot and get caught in a shower. They also sell a shorter 2 foot caribiner bungee if your cart is another brand that is longer and you need some extra length. Harbor Freight also sell shorter bungees with plastic hooks instead that won't scratch up the frame if you want to run bungees across the top of load and hook to the sides of the frame. I also hook a JBL Clip 4 or the new Clip 5 Bluetooth speaker to the front of the wagon on the frame for some music.
    These wagons are really handy. I don't see how places like NYC aren't absolutely crawling with them everywhere. The caribiner bungees are Haul-Master 48 inch. SKU number 58142 for the 4 foot bungees. They're around $3.50 a piece.

    I just ordered two of the folding carts. I ordered a Gorilla Folding Cart for $119 on Amazon. Won't be here until after Easter but that's fine, no hurry to get it.
    Then I also ordered a Sekey Folding Cart too but this one has the bigger wider wheels. It is rated for 400 lbs and will be here tomorrow just in time for a Costco trip, so will try it out there.
    So, we'll see how they both work out.
    Good video and review.

    I love it, I am considering in buying one, but can you make a video of you rolling that across more soft sand with what you need to go to the beach with? You don't need to do any editing nor make comments or review, just ride it around the sand. I want to see how well it does, before I can buy it ASAP.

  • @timh6837
    @timh6837 Před 3 lety +3

    If it had bigger tires then it would be perfect for the beach. I hate pulling carts through the sand with narrow tires.

      If they made a model with some wider wheels it would be awesome. Still did the job well though.

    As with all products, I've heard some conflicting reviews about this cart's ability to carry heavy loads. Not looking to exceed what manufacturer recommends (150#) but wanted to know if you felt it could handle up to 100# with ease???
    TIA.

    • @ReelLowDad
      @ReelLowDad  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes. This cart can easily do 100 pounds. I have used it to move items that can't be left in freezing Temps back into the garage. A few 5 gallon pals of products and several 1 or 2.5 gallon jugs. All loaded up and it worked flawlessly

      @@ReelLowDad So the bottom of the cart "floor" is sturdy enough & not flimsy? Have you seen the mac sports carts? Wondered how you would compare it to that model? Thanks for your reply. Enjoyed your video & review.

    Hello, needing a cart for going over rough stoney tracks for wild camping. Do you think the wheels are capable of quite rough stoney ground?

    • @ReelLowDad
      @ReelLowDad  Před 3 lety

      I used it over some gravel that was in the 2-5inch size a few weeks back. It looked like small riprap used for lakefront and drainage control. Performed pretty good.

    My wife and I are looking for a new folding wagon because ours is falling apart after two years and just by reading some of these comments it seems like everyone is happy with their's. But I do have one question. Can the handle adjust to different lengths?

    • @ReelLowDad
      @ReelLowDad  Před rokem +1

      The handle is telescoping with a bit of resistance so it could stay at a shorter length.

    Do your front wheels wiggle if moving more than a slow walk?

    • @ReelLowDad
      @ReelLowDad  Před 11 měsíci

      I have never noticed that but also never paid that much attention to it. I just got back from another beach trip and it was used extensively both on the road and sand. The road was smooth pulling.

    • @ReelLowDad
      @ReelLowDad  Před 3 lety

      It wasn't bad. Not as easy to pull as something with wide wheels made for the sand. Still was totally pullable and quick hose down after got it cleaned up.

      I think officially it's around 100 but I have had about 150 in it over memorial day weekend. A fully loaded up cooler and 4 camp chairs and all the kids BMX gear and a pop up tent.

    those wheels sink in the beach sand and you will not able to pull. Believe me. You need thicker and larger wheels. I have had to change my wagon because of that.

    I BOUGHT MINE FROM MITRE TEN. IT COST ME 150 DOLLARS. I WAS ACTUALLY WANTING ONE WITH BIGGER WHEELS. NOT THAT I WANT TO TAKE IT TO A BEACH, I DONT. I JUST WANT IT FOR WHEELING TO THE SHOP DOWN THE ROAD TO PICK UP MY PARCELS WHEN I HAVE BIG ONES THERE. I HAVE TO WHEEL MINE ON A ROAD AS THERE IS NO FOOT PATH HERE. THE WALK IS AROUND A 3 TO 5 MIN WALK. IT HAS TO BE SILENT AS THERE ARE NOISY DOGS ON THE WAY WHICH I HATE. IT SAYS IT CAUSES CANCER. THAT SCARED ME SO I UNFOLDED IT READY FOR USE THEN PUT IT IN A ROOM AND CLOSED THE DOOR. IT DOES HAVE A STRONG SMELL. PERHAPS OVER TIME THAT SMELL IT HAS WILL FADE AWAY. MINE LOOKS LIKE YOURS DOES EXCEPT I HAVENT OBSERVED IF IT HAS BRAKES ON IT OR NOT. I DIDNT EXAMINE THAT PART YET. THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD OF THIS MODEL. AS I SAID, I JUST WISH THE WHEELS WERE BIGGER. I HOPE THERE ARE NO HOLES OR BUMPS IN THE ROAD WHEN I WHEEL IT. I COULD WHEEL IT ON GRASS I SUPPOSE.
