Shane Beecher: "Four Diamonds & THON saved my son's life"

At an advance screening at witf of the new "Why We Dance: The Story of THON" documentary, Shane Beecher paints a moving portrait of his young son Charlie's cancer journey- from the anguish of a diagnosis to the comfort that the doctors, nurses, child life specialist and music therapists offered the family along the way. The Four Diamonds Fund & THON made this possible.
Each year, students across PA raise money to help kids like Charlie who are fighting a tough fight against cancer. In 2012, they raised over 10 million dollars! The Beecher family is featured in a new documentary that shares this special story called "Why We Dance: The Story of THON."
