Just imagine...........less than a seconds to crash,.......more than 200 hours to fix!!!!................Repect man! Great work!
Live proof that real mechanics still exist. Well done guys, chapeau bas!
Think its more good bodybuilders and panel beaters !
And after reparing we still have 10 nuts ;d and 5 bolts.
No one said they didn't exist.
@@Coffeeology alot of people do
@@supertreme5559 who? Who says "There is no such thing as a mechanic."
Hi! Nice to see a video about someone doing the same thing as I do for living.
I work in a Scania Body repair shop in Sweden.
Just wanted to make you aware of something, according to Scanias directions of repairing cabs its not allowed to pull or straightning The A-pillar, its made of a very special steel and if it is damaged you have to replace the whole part as a section.
Anyway, Great video and keep up the good work
probably something to do with crash resistance.. the second time this metal will bend much easier and so more dangerous for the driver..
that would be too expensive, pulling it straight is almost free
Won’t buy this one then lol 👌
@@SharonD369 I’m guessing they will strengthen the panels they pulled
I didn’t realize that it took them 200 hours, to build that amazing truck again. Respect man! Excellent work!
Thank you 🙏🏽
You guys amaze me, how you do these repairs is beyond me. A marvellous job. I have started watching all your vids.
Thank you 🙏🏽

@@krzysztofdrozdziok6910 chyba 200 godzin i 2 miesiące
In Germany they would remove the old cabin and replace by a new cabin. Because the insurance pay the expensive repair. A old one is sold at eBay.
wgaf about germany, rather than be negative, look at the excellenet craftsmanship gone into the rebuild.
LOL that’s my truck after driving Calais Duisburg road in ETS2MP, and after is when I finally get to Calais and repair my truck
really?
i feel that man, you canh drive from calais to doisburg without getting involved into a crash.

I hope you were not badly injured in the accident 🤕
Background music??
Top stuff 🔥 200 hours ?
Thats under 8 to 10 days with 4 men working? That's mega brilliant !
Fixing that truck and you show us how is good to be a Mechanical is a good thing I never see before .
Well done 👏
Excellent job guys. Not often you see a rebuild like that, usually scrapped!! Well done 👌
Genuinely amazing! Pure skills and dedication. Respect.
As an American viewer I love the designs of both the European cabover and American conventional trucks. Both are great in their own ways. I think European cabovers would be great in congested cities/urban areas here in the US whereas the conventional trucks would be better for long-haul cross country routes. Great work!
US trucks are way more comfortable due to their cab size. You used to have cabovers too - like Freightliner Argosy : )
Trucks are not aloud inside a city, in Europe.
The american type could be used here also. But they prefer this Euro type cabin.
@@dan_6915 american type trucks would be horrible here in europe, the roads are much narrower than those in the USA
@@Leven_00
If you got a narrow roads, euro trucks couldnt drive on them either.
For those type of roads you use iveco daily, renault master, etc..
@@dan_6915 Im not talking about a road that a truck cannot pass, but most here are very narrow and barely fit 2 cars side by side,an american truck would have horrible maneuverability
Absolutely stunning work!
This repair would be illegal in Canada, that is High strength steel not mild steel the structure and the skin of the cab is made of. We have dodgy repair shops that would still do it as enforcement here is useless. If a vehicle like that gets in another accident, you can kiss your shop insurance goodbye.
If my boss said i was the next driver off that lorry
I would tell them to go FK themselves
I don't know how I got here but you guys have done an amazing job !
I simply cannot watch this video and not leave a comment!
Putting the cost and viability of this project aside, as other viewers have addressed these issues, I absolutely cannot believe the amount
of actual physical work these guys have done in rebuilding this Scania Truck.
They deserve a medal each for their dedication (and knowledge) during the dismantling and rebuilding process!
I have seen similar videos, but not on this level! Obviously, having a fully equipped workshop is absolutely essential in taking on a job like this,
but even so, this was a colossal amount of work over a huge amount of hours!
You guys are amazing in what you have done with this truck. Thank you to whoever filmed this, because seeing is literally believing.
Absolutely Awesome! 👏👏
Well Done to every person involved in the entire project!
Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Isn't it cheaper to buy a new naked cabin and transfer all the details
I was thinking the same thing.
Safer with a new cab too.
Your work and knowledge is second to none so professional
Amazing job boys, Your manual skills are incredible because few can do that
Amazing job! Never would have thought that couldn't been recovered

Nice video,nice work guys!👍
Great team you have there. Lovely repair 👍😎
You and your team are very clever. 😀
Hi, really great job !
hello from russia, very good work of specialists. at a high level
Thank you 🙏🏽
Respekt.
In Germany you would never repair such a truck because it is cheaper for the forwarding company to simply buy a new truck.
But respect I love Scania and it hurts me to see one so broken
Thanks that's you rebuild this one
Thank you 🙏🏽
these guys are amazing👌
a lot of skills in such a small shop
very impressive!!

Wow what a difference cracking job
It will live and it did fantastic job only done two cab changes in my time and they were hard work well done 👍👨🏻🏭
It just showed you what humans are capable of talented people ,was that an insurance job ,or was the truck bought then fixed ,how much money was made ,beautifull job
Respect guys great job ... Salute fom Croatia :)
That intro could really scare someone if they're not expecting it 😬🤣 very nice video 😎👍
Thank you
Pure Hobby!
This Scania with history of Cat S (structural damage) would never sell for more than 40k!
It would work in places where labour cost fraction of what it does in UK. But in UK it is just pure show of skills ;)
Well Done!!
All those spot welds to remove, I'd lose the will to live 😁 but excellent work, very interesting 👍
Arthur Tussik style 😄
Well done 👏👌💪

Brawo! Wspaniała robota! Great job guys congratulations! 👌👍

Skilled trades men at work,, brilliant to see and think about what it would be like if everyone was a computer worker,, skilled people are all essential to help industries,, great video
Thank you🙏🏽
It's good workmanship and dedication. But, it way too cheaper and safer to buy second hand cab. They do everywhere in the world. When the pillars is compromised next slightest hit will disintegrate the cab. Great video to watch.
Good working Brother
Very nice and perfect, good luck bro
I wished the fitters at my local keltruc moved that fast,💪😊
Need to ask ... Would it not have been cheaper and easier to have bought a new cab or even a second hand one ... Awesome skilled work though ...
It would . But then cost of repair with new cab be more than 55-60k it was to close to writ it off . We done our best to keep it on the road and have work .
@@sebastianjedrzejczyk9597 ... Some serious skills guys ... Well done ... !!
BIG BIG job and what a job! 👍
Good job &professional
Hat's off Guys .... Super
Seb, hats off to you. 😮👍👍👍
Thank you 🙏🏽
I'm honestly surprised by the quality work put there it looks really really good.
I got one question though how about the structural integrity of the cabin?
I'm guessing its made out of metal or aluminium and if one of those pieces are bent in any shape they usually dont have the same strength even though you can push them back into place but I could be wrong about that
Someone in an above comment mentioned the A frame on a Scania truck is Not to be straightened.
Only replaced after an accident ??
I Love the skill of the repair.
Just concerned of the quality of the truck after a rebuild like this ??
If it was me i would be buying a brand new cabin then refitting it.
Seems the time to repair it was consumed fairly quickly.
Might even be cheaper to buy the new cab too ??
Your rights
Great Job👍👌
cool vid, interesting to see behind all the shiny stuff
I can already feel the wind blowing from the doors
Damn right there, a recab only if it were mine 👌
Seems the shop repaired the truck for the owner ??
The owner will most lightly not be driving it anyway.
Give it to the new guy to driver ??
Good job & Lots of work fit truck 👍
Fantastic and very nice .
Thank you 🙏🏽
Very impressive guys, nice one. 👍👍
Great video! 200 man hours!!!
