His Pacino is 100% spot on. De Niro's voice is not an easy one to imitate as it's very normal. Pacino has a real distinction in the way he essentially growls while speaking.

I even agree on your point regarding the bear like growl of Pacino, which Hiddleston attempts, along with his horrendous approximation of Pacino’s New York accent. I would say though, on the spectrum of difficult impressions, De Niro is not nearly as allusive as you let on with your comment. As is the case with Hiddleston’s best friends Benedict Cumberbatch, and Andrew Garfield, these Brits should consult dialect coaches before embarrassing themselves and Americans alike for the world to see with their grossly inaccurate portrayals of great American artists.
This is a very generous takeaway from a highly embarrassing clip.

Only natural. De Niro obviously one of his heroes. It’s the line between offence and comedy. And the nervousness. If you watch when graham asks de Niro about impression. Toms face is clearly nervous smile and even laughs prematurely in expectation of about what’s about to happen.

Actually, I recognized De Niro just by looking at how he twisted his mouth. He totally nailed the facial expressions and gestures... there's only so much he could do about his voice.

I love watching this video because Tom is just geeking out so hard. And you can tell he got so nervous right at the beginning when Graham brings up impressions... because he knows what's about to come! He looked so nervous! And then watch his face, it turns so red after he does the Heat scene... Must have been so embarrassed and nervous. He's doing some serious fanboying. He's so cute. Ahh.
Cuteness aside, Hiddle's Al Pacino wasn't half bad but please, that Bobby DeNiro impression was horrendous. Although with The Man sitting right there on the same couch, the degree of difficulty would be through the roof. So....

Yes it does to the majority of humans on the planet that are on average 5 1/2" inches shorter. Generally I'd say that anyone or 6'2" to 6'5" is definitely considered very tall to most people. Anyone 6'6" to 6'10" is considered extremely tall, and anyone anywhere near 7'0 ft. and over are just giants.
I understand that there are humans reaching ultimate heights well over 6'5", but they still only account for a tiny segment of the population. I'm speaking in common terms of what's generally considered as tall calculated by statistical averages not by the minority exceptions.

Like I said, sure there are really, really tall people in the world (over 6'5") as there are super short too. But the average traits of a population is what relatively determines descriptive human categorization - not minority populations of extreme heights tallness or shortness.

No it's not incorrect. Being a little taller than the average has nothing to do with being a "normal height". "Normal" should not be equated with "average" in this discussion. I'm not discussing the idea of "normal" height, just common social categorization. Height categories are always RELATIVE to the average mean of a population. So if 50% of men are in the range of 5'5" to 6'0", anyone over 6'.0 is generally (or relatively) considered tall by social standards not by who is actually measured as the tallest person(s) in a population. Again tall and short are relative categorizations determined by the average mean of a population. It was so great of Graham Norton to allow that dialog between Tom and Bob to develop without interfering. He understands perfectly when to step in and when to just let it play and make space for what his guests come up with. Love watching his show, he is the best.

Watching Norton is like hanging out with your friends from work and each one works in different departments but with celebrities. Love how Norton just have a random assortment of celebrities there who are just being human. They don’t play a persona, character, or promote anything they’re all there just having a moment.
