Steamrail Victoria's Lilydale Shuttles 2022

Just on 10 Months since the last Steam run out of Lilydale's Old Station on July 10th 2021 the first steam hauled trains out of Lilydale's new Railway station operated with K class Consolidations K183 and K190 running 4 trips between Lilydale and Ringwood and return.
Compared to last year all our footage this time is trackside, with a lot of very atmospheric shots taken, including seeing it climb over Cave Hill the highest point on the line between Melbourne and Lilydale and also the steepest grade.
The trip was very well operated and organised and is a credit once again to the volunteers of steamrail victoria who keep these magnificent engines going.
