I was still in high school when this came out, I never even got to a dance club until 1987 or so, or rather I did and saw shows but I couldn' drink. Luckily by 1988 LI NY still had some decent clubs and music venues, I didn't do the NYC club scene at all until a few years past that, either. So I had to soak in all this music from the radio and record stores. Now sadly LI doesn't have a single decent new music radio station, nor does it have a decent nightclub left. Then again I don't do the club scene much, concerts if anything. Anyway, we took it for granted at the time. One minute WLIR FM radio was classic rock and fairly boring staid programming, then in 1982 it was suddenly hearing bands like this or Echo or New Order, The Cure, or The Smiths or Depeche Mode. I had no idea what I was hearing given the rest of my area seemed intent on being stuck on listening to the same boring fucking shit over and over and over and over again. Grand Funk Railroad, man!! Fuck RIGHT off. At least when MTV hit I had a better exposure to the "new wave," whatever that was. Then hearing college radio changed my life forever, that's a certainty. You wouldn't even hear the likes of Vicious Pink on WNYU...you would hear some harsh shit like Ed Gein's Car, Scratch Acid, Throbbing Gristle, Flipper, Circle Jerks, Cabaret Voltaire, Husker Du, The Fall, etc. Wasn't for the fainthearted.
Somehow this epic made it to the disco of a small fishing town in the north of Scotland in the summer of 85. Brilliant memories. The towns seen better days and the place is all closed up now. But a part of me will always be a teenager dancing to this.
One of our close friends was dating a girl in Scotland he spread the word a lot. Apparently in one town a lot the young people were crazy about it. We did a few shows there too, King Tuts in Glasgow was a great night!
I love it reminds me of the good Ole days !!! if there would have been social media back then , Vicious Pink along with a lot of other amazing bands from that era would have been huge !!
I have honestly never heard of this group or song until just now(8/23/19) but I love it as if I had heard it with all of my other fave 80’s bands. Great job guys!

Ages ahead of its time!
Last night, we both said things that we regret
Things that we didn't mean
Broke up, all that we ever had
You went, said you weren't coming back
Baby please, can't you see
Back in your arms is where I want to be
Baby please, answer me
Back in your arms is where I want to be
I know, things started going wrong
And yet, my loves goes on and on
I think, that we can make it work
Ignore, all of those things you've heard
Baby please, can't you see
Back in your arms is where I want to be
Baby please, answer me
Back in your arms is where I want to be
Baby please, can't you see
I think you know I want you here with me
Baby please, set me free
I'm calling you why don't you answer me
I'll make it up, to you somehow
I only wish that things could be the same
I'll make you feel, like you used to
Why don't you take me in your arms again
Baby please, can't you see
Back in your arms is where I want to be
Baby please, answer me
Back in your arms is where I want to be
I'll make it up, to you somehow
