Hi Alex and everyone! I have an automotive question regarding cars in Malaysia: I am coming to Malaysia from UK for a research project for six months and need a car to get around. I have driven in Malaysia before and can find my way around. Now the question: I need a small, cheap car, as safe as possible, with low maintenance costs, also not to loose too much when I sell it after six months. the budget is around 10k (RM) and not beyond 13k. Suggests? Savvy, Kelisa, Atoz... (No Kancil, please!).
You're likely going to need a Saga BLM for that price (for now 2018 ik this is late ass you might got back to UK already but here's some suggestions car for you when you come back to Malaysia again) or maybe a Myvi 1.3 but much of them has relatively high mileage. If you need a more smaller ones, try the Viva 1.0 second handed. I do not encourage you to buy base model Perodua because they're horribly underpowered and it is not going to haul you any where far then being inside of a town. Saga BLM 1.3 might be a great choice for you,get the manual ones because automatic second handed models are mostly problematic !
Im in love with this car. Its 2022.. Im for real.

The problems are at the AMT version, the manual dont know so much
These are good value 2nd hand. A 2005 in the UK can be picked up for just £1500. Cant really moan with that sort of value if the car does the job.
