The 16mm on crop mode is using a light patch that is much smaller that that of the Full Frame 14mm light patch. No need to up the ISO because there is more light being let in ;) Color rendition is due to coatings and lens materials. BTW 14mm on a FF sensor is SUPER Ultrawide! For reference the standard 10-22 or 10-20 lenses on a crop camera is like a 16-35 on a full frame...
you can use the built-in flash with sony 16mm + vcl-efc1 ? (sony a5100) It can be used for photoshooting parties? or it is covered by the fisheye lens?
Nice. I didn't even know what conversion lens is about. I got 2 cheap ones, and I don't know if I should use them (does it affect image quality?) Also, I don't know if I should buy a prime wide angle lens separately if I have this thing. Any advice?

yep 16mm ist auf Fullframe bezogen so das es an aps-c nur mit mit adapter ein 16mm "field of view" bekommt. bedenke außerdem das das 16mm pancake wirklich nur ein aps-c objektiv ist, also die a7s in aps-c crop mode war ... das walimax habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht in aps-c mit dem ECU1 vergleichen. habe das ECU1 auch nicht mehr, da zu wenig genutzt ... kann ich also leider keine verwertbare aussage mehr machen ...
