Sorry if anybody already noted this but if the window(s) only move an inch or so at a time, raise it fully and then lift the button for around three to five seconds, the window will then go all the way down and up with one touch. Works on mine but tends to happen more often than I like.
Nice to see a different version of the car I use daily. Got the 2005 5-speed manual with the same engine, left-driving, different climate-control unit and interior color but for the rest the same. 130k miles. Had some electrical problems along the way, some of which you already mentioned in this video. Instrument cluster, window modules, parking brake handle and ignition coils. On the mechanical side 1 issue, that's the clutch or drivetrain not working smoothly. Feels unpredictable and jolty in the 10 minutes after a cold start. Otherwise a little old but comfortable daily drive. 👍

So about week 2 on owning one of these. I got a 2006 1.4 16v with 61.000 miles and 1 owner from new. Yes i have in herrited se advisory's because i found nearly every one i looked at had a list of advisorys as long as my arm even at only 30k miles every m.o.t, the handling is fairly good for a car this size. I drove 70miles to collect the car in a nissan juke 1.5 dci which was gutless the whole way there but scenic was a little better at pick up from 60mph with help from the VVT but damn i had major back ache when i got home. Motorway miles i get about same as my 1.6 suzuki but the renault produces more co2 also. What i dont like is the cheap stereo with sticky dodgey buttons, crap steering wheel controls and i already 3 times nearly had an accident in it because the dashboard clocks are distracting. Over reach from windscreen means extra sun in your face rendering the sun visor hopless. As always the petrol engines are whiny and the gearbox is notchy but i never driven a renault of this age that dosnt have it anyway so i know its a french thing. Stereo bass is good i like bass with my ub40. Started having a few issue's already but so far im not in love with it but i kinda like.
I just got the 1.4 16v for £340 because I didn't check the oil in my trusty civic 😞, it's a good drive but stalls out for like 3 attempts at startup, injector problem or ecu I've seen online
hi, could you answer two questions...1. when this car takes off does it lock automatically and 2. does it indicate on the dash when to go up and down the gear? the Renault clio I learnt in did and I'm getting this exact model in the same colour on Monday. oh sorry another question, how does the electronic handbrake work? I've never used an electronic one before?
I'm looking to purchase one of these the guy is only looking £400 but on the dash it says check parking break should i stay clear, any advice would be appreciated
Buying one tmro, a 1.4 petrol. Im replacing my most treasured car i ever had a 1.6 petrol suzuki liana estate 2004 that now 184k miles on it and still runs solid with no issues at all but my missus said we need the back seat space so im gutted i have to get rid of my suzuki for this crap 😢, everything on them is a common problem but i would rather have this than a citreon xsara or a breadbin zafira, Just came to see what they look like.

I got exact the same as you! Glass roof, 1.6 16v, 5 speed manual, 2005, cruise control, left steering wheel and with 195k km's

Yes for the 1, it lock when the car take off...its possible to program the electronic box to ovoid this
