I've been to Cabela's that have been out of the way, so I rarely go. Usually the superstores, which are quite the attraction onto itself. I don't know which one you've been to, but they always provide something extra.
Last year, while on the AT I stopped overnight in Hamburg but did not resupply at Cabelas (!). Instead, I went to Walmart (easier to walk to as I recall). I did enjoy the proximity of all the restaurants and hotels.
Of course when you came out of the store there was an armored car there.(12:13) Ha! They probably pick up 3 times a day from there. Of course they got some of my loot too. The good stuff is expensive. And they have all the good stuff. like the Redhead brand clothes.also some wool stuff for hunting. Also its onthe way to the coal region. Really liked your videos from up that way, and looking forward to yours and Jon's series on the Molly McGuires.
Cool 👍 Thanks for taking us along! It's been years since I've been there. It's good to see it again . I'm glad they had what you went for. And I like your school shirt. Thanks for sharing!
Love that store!!! I drove from South Jersey to Hamburg, and it was a beautiful drive so far!! It was great !! Planning to go back again!!!I love Pa!!!❤❤
@@gregggoss2210 But they are not like Hamburg. The latter has a place to eat, antique firearm room and an aquarium. The AC and Delaware are only sales outlets.
I always liked the fish there. The closest one to me is in West Virginia. I never understood why there isn't one in the Pgh. area. We had Gander Mountain here in Monroeville but its gone now. Very nice shirt. Their stuff is expensive, but good that you got it on sale. That's my favorite way to shop....sales!😊 It was nice shopping with you, even tho you didn't buy me anything 😢😅. Be safe.❤❤❤
My granddaughter always asks to go to Bela's. In the safari section she always says that the zebras are stuck in ice (the make shift pond). A little south of there on route 61 is an eagle's nest.
Hi Cliff. Wow! Love the aquarium and the wildlife nature exhibit. So much more than just a store. Thanks for taking us along. Good luck with your trailcam adventures. Love your channel.
You seriously need to make a trip to Benezette , Elk County to the Elk Visitor Center. Catch a ride on the horse drawn wagon, listen to the bugling, catch a few sparring rounds and check out the harems of elk cows. You might even catch a few calves playing. Tell the girls in the gift shop that Helen said hello!!! Look for the unique elk called “Handlebars” and check out the local wineries and distilleries. If you get a little hungry, stop at the Benezette Hotel for some good grub. Hope to see you!!!
I had a large cat / likely a mountain lion visit my yard in fogelsville a few years back. Impressive animals but not what I wanted to encounter outside with my dogs.
I always loved Cabela''s and shopped there frequently. There is one near my house. Now I'm sure I will create a firestorm but about 10 year's ago I stopped buying from them since they refused to stop selling military style semi-automatic weapons and high capacity magazines as other retailers did. In my opinion, these items have no place in hunting and are merely designed to kill people, hence, their use by the military. They should not be in the hands of the general public.. It's too bad as would love to shop there again. 'Nuf said and I respect differing opinions. Love your channel.
@andyr6272, haven't been to the Hamburg store in years, but I was at the Newark DE. Store earlier this year and since Bass Pro Shops took over, things have changed drastically, and not for the better. ALL ammo is now kept behind the counter and you have to hope there is a store associate available to help. I haven't been back since. I might check out the Hamburg store to see if it is any different.
I always pass that store on my way up north to visit my Sister in East Stroudsburg. Unfortunately I never have time to stop by. Looks like an amazing place. What would you recommend as an entry level trail cam?
I ran into you here a few years back and said hi to you. You were as socially awkward irl as you are speaking into the camera. I know you are a school teacher but you left me wondering if i was the 1st person you ever interacted with? Anyways, glad to see you are still plugging out videos ✌️
I would never have thought that he was socially awkward in his videos. Just by reading your comment, it’s obvious that you’re a super critical asshole.
Thanks for taking us along Cliff. I really liked the fish.
The Hamburg, PA store was Cabela's flagship, biggest one they built. That entire area was built up around it, beautiful views all around.

Just so you guys know, there are 2 other stores in the area. A Bass Pro Shop in Atlantic City and Cabelas in Newark DE.

I enjoy going up there. Too bad the Bargain Cave is gone.
The bargain cave WVa is gone, too.

Awesome store thanks for the video
Cliff,
Cabelas is cool, but you could have shown us more store and less drive
to get there.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
I enjoyed the drive very much.
@@nancymann5351 the drive was good but the cabela part was rushed,

I believe the ammo is still kept in front of the counter at Hamburg but its been a while since I was there.
My dad baught fishing stuff there, me personally have never been to one, I'm from ohio
This store chain carries some really fine shotguns.
