      If you are asking if there is one program that will do everything, it may be possible to use the IR controller to select different activities for the robot to do. For example press 1 for obstacle avoidance, 2 for line tracking, etc. This would involve combining the separate programs into a single one. I will try to work on this over the weekend and I will let you know if it works out. Otherwise I have an obstacle avoidance program in the description that works with the wiring I do in the video. If you wired it according to the instructions I also linked the companies code that you can upload. If you have any other questions let me know!

    and I am assembling this kit and I am having a bit of trouble fitting both copper wires of the motors into the H-Bridge and each time the wires finally fit, they just come off despite screwing the screws on the H-Bridge really tight! Maybe the copper wires are a bit too tiny...
    Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
    Thanks in advance 😁

    • @TechwithMikeYT
      @TechwithMikeYT  Před 3 lety

      There is a piece of metal that gets pressed down when you screw in the screw. This can sometimes be bent to close to the top so that is doesn't make good contact with the wire. If you have a small screwdriver try to gentle bend the metal down towards the bottom by getting behind it and pressing it down. This should help it make better contact and stay secured. If you have a wire stripper, you could also try to remove a little more of the rubber coating and expose more wire.

    • @TechwithMikeYT
      @TechwithMikeYT  Před 4 lety +1

      It really depends on how you use it. The building part is fun but the included directions are not super clear. It's doable but just requires some extra thought for some steps. As far as programming I would do it by components. First start with the ultrasonic sensor and get it to read data, then move the servo motor left and right to read data on the sides. Then set up conditionals that print go, stop, turn left, turn right, based on the situation. Elegoo is another company that has a similar product but with better resources. Little bit more expensive for their car kit but may be worth it with less frustration.

  • @NothingNothing-nn5pl
    @NothingNothing-nn5pl Před 3 měsíci

    I need help, we had problems with the code and the car does not work, we think that the problem may be the bridge because at first we did not loosen the screws a little to insert the cable, we tried to disassemble it with a small screwdriver, but it does not come out and a cable is loose. The other part is that our servo has a screw loose, so when we try to operate it we get the error that something is broken. Another possibility is that when we connect the board to our computer it does not detect it as an Arduino UNO, but only as a simple USB. I don't know what is wrong. I need some help.

    Your response is much appreciated. My battery cell box is broken. Im trying to figure out how to power everything. Can I get two battery boxes and connect one to the Uno and the other to the h-bridge? I can't find a box that has both the DC input and extra leads

    • @TechwithMikeYT
      @TechwithMikeYT  Před 3 lety

      Can you verify that there is contact between the batteries and the terminals? Sometimes a spring can be too compressed and not make proper contact. You can use a screw drive to extend the spring a little. If you are sure your battery box is dead then you can use 2 2xAA battery boxes or 1 4xAA battery box. If you use 2 2xAA battery boxes then connect one black and one red lead wire from the 2 battery boxes. Then cut the two lead wire that go from the original battery box and to the DC input (near the middle). Connect the free black and red wires from the connected 2xAA battery boxes to the corresponding leads into the DC input. If you find another box for the original batteries you can follow the same steps. Cover exposed wire with electrical tape.

Or the same could be done if you aren't using the line tracking sensors. If you would like to keep everything plugged in you could use A0 and A1 for the trig and echo pin from the ultrasonic sensor.
