When this played in the final mission I felt awesome.

It’s actually funny that the year of this game is actually set in 2007, yet it has a 80’s retro wave over it.
Nightlife Vegas it’s because a nuclear war happened so culture kind of stopped developing
Blood Dragon is a parody of 80s action movies, so it has synth and crap, but set in a dystopian 2007.
The future scenes in Terminator were set in 2029 and people were still using 80s technology except for weaponry, that was the only real thing that advanced.
That kind of sci fi did this a lot. Blade Runner set in 2019, Predator 2 in the 'near future' of 1997, etc.
Because it's supposed to be a parody of the 80's perception of the future, people expected flying cars by now and laser guns.
The year is 2017 and the future is not here...unfortunately!

Playing this game is what really got me into Synthwave and the whole Cyberpunk genre. This game is also badass but criminally too short!
It's the year 2023. Ubisoft has not made a game as magnificent as this since its release in 2007. The soundtrack by Power Glove still kicks ass and the game is still a masterpiece.

I first played through Farcry 1 and 2 I was like eh they're okay, I went into the same mindset with this game. I admit after hearing this song I was blown away, I couldn't stop hearing it. I played through this game 3 times, I then went through every single Farcry game. I have completed Farcry 4 2xs to 100%. I love them so much.
