You should troll the hermits by naming one of any mobs "nothing, they survived Decked Out!" like Joe did with Gem & Pearl
Or name a mob after a Hermit

The fact Zedaph shows his deck before each run is so nice. So many of the hermits at this point are not showing deck updates, I want to know what cards people have or are getting.
Yes, the inserts with both the deck and the missing mobs are really neat.
It was so funny watching Tango’s stream where he was saying the vexes were not as deadly as he wanted them to be in Decked Out, then just after that Zed and Impulse kept getting obliterated by vexes in the chat. I think Tango was crying on the inside 😂

That moment when zed finally got killed by the evoker could be referred to as "Zed dead redemption"
The shenanigan's via death in this episode had me literally crying with laughter. And that hoard of zombies came out of nowhere I actually jumped-
"He knows you punched him in the face, right?"
"Twice!!"
That exchange was comedy gold, and it was the hardest I've laughed all week. Your episodes are always hilarious and so dang FUN. This installment unexpectedly made my whole day, so cheers to you and Impulse for that!

One of the fun extras of seeing the hermits streams is seeing messages like that in the chat, fun little sneak peaks of whats to come

You know that there were husks just waiting for people to get killed by them in one of the interactive museum exhibits, right?
I could be wrong, but I think Zedaph wants to try to find things "in the wild" if possible.

Husks naturally spawn in the desert too, he could have just gone to a desert biome during the night and look for one. They aren't that hard to find...
Zed's production of his DO episodes is pretty great. I love seeing the cards used, and the little transition card.

I think for pay to win you want to use it as soon as possible, since it never really gets better, and it could lead to having more cards sooner.
Agreed. Grab an easy run so you can just run around the caves and make sure you get all your embers
IIRC the extra embers isn't a specific amount guaranteed to drop; just a boosted % for the drop roll. I suppose it could be saved for a known easier run, especially on a slow day where there's no queue so two runs in a row is possible. The ravagers will roam a bit during the resets, but knowing in general where you left them at the end of a previous run could be very advantageous for a "stay in as long as possible to maximize the number of rolls with that boosted %" run...
It is better to use when you have a higher ember artifact so that you have more opportunities to get an uncommon card. Either way, the extra unspent embers can go towards purchasing common cards, so it only gets better the higher difficulty you go and the more Ember Seekers you have
New zedvancement idea - collect all the artifacts (artifakes) from decked out
Eh, I think it would be too hard - amount of frozen shards is limited and there's a lot of these. Unless hermits are up for helping with their repeats.
watching the making of this video by the death messages in the other Hermits' in game chats was a treat

In my continuing quest to reward hermits who post Decked Out runs with a comment to feed to the algorithm (which I have spelled so many times now that spellcheck no longer has to correct me :P) I want to thank you again for the DO runs.
I do especially like that you post your full deck before each one with the level chosen. You really do manage to make things easy to understand quickly. I appreciate your efforts, not only the runs but the little (or perhaps large?) editing touches that make your content flow to charmingly.
I do hope Tango does something to work out the entrance to Lv. 2... there just isn't much you can do if the ravies are camping both enterances. I'm sure he will, the game is there to be played, not to kill everyone. @};- Have a great day, Zed.

I just had an idea for a zedachievements, I sent it in the forms in video 1, but I also send it here:
POPSTAR - Have as many different creatures as possible following you at the same time. Both hostile creatures such as zombies and creepers, as well as sheep and pigs with food.
There's Husk parkour in the museum you could just stand in there. Then sue Cub for safety failings in his museum.
I think your idea of suffocating the zombie to make a husk came from the fact that you can use powdered snow to make a stray. They should add that, suffocating a zombie with sand blocks should turn it into a husk (and I guess they should probably also make it so husks don't suffocate)
That explains the Zed deaths I was seeing other Hermit's streams.

Make it a competition, Cub speed-mining vs. Doc running a tunnel bore, see who gets more.

I know tango recorded all of the audio cues for Decked out but eveery time I hear one of them I swear it get's closer and closer to his unadjusted voice.
The husk was easier than you thought. Cub currently has two husks in the museum for his minigame.

After watching the episode something dawned on me: Cubfan has the mobs in his museum.

Nope. The impulse stuff was filmed in a single chunk, and he had empty inventory, only carrying rockets and food.
With everybody streaming Decked Out, the occasional weird death messages are enriched content.
I love the card summary before the runs, I wish other hermits would do something like that.
I have an Idea for a Zedvancement: A recipe for disaster, where the goal is to get as high up as possible after being launched by a soup of tnt and then do a water bucket MLG when up you land.

Zedaph: deliberately seeking out phantom death bc he hasnt been killed by one in over a year
edit: same thing for the nether mobs
to clarify, the snow layers you get depend on how many victory tomes you submitted (this data is only known by tango, but he has put a lectern explaining it next to the leaderboard), while the shards you get depend on the amount of frost embers you got during the phase (this data is collected by the community through watching Hermits' videos, and listed in a spreadsheet that tango got access to)

Love the way you introduced the deck out run :) that was cool!!
That first run and Sneaky Ravager honestly makes me ponder about Decked Out 2 versions of Zedvancements. A variant of "I'm De-Terminated" where you have to die to every creature type _in the dungeon specifically_ is an obvious one, but what else... "Best Worst Equipment" could be that you go in with all your best cards (at least 10) but end up leaving with the "worst" (lowest value) artifact. "The Hall of All" would be getting every one of the artifacts once -which has to be manually tracked since you can't leave with them- (watched further, the Arti-Fake thing is new), plus one of every card. Aaand... that's where I run out of ideas.
FYI, you may use zoom during a run, Tango does and another Hermit asked and he said he doesn't care.
As much as you were a test dummy for Decked Out, I'm kinda surprised you still needed an evoker death.
