We love us some accurate portrayal of the lgbt+ struggle that doesn’t glamorize or fetishize it. I love the message they are sending and I’m happy to see a kpop group use their platform to openly talk about these things. Good representation matters

Onlyoneof continuously doing gay/queer concepts despite the hate they get is really heartwarming because it shows just how much they are passionate about this topic and making everyone feel included and accepted💛

KB was about to pass out, stumbled into the already occupied telephone booth... Yoojung took care of him, got him home and put him to bed. KB didn't know how he got home, but figures it out when he sees the tiny origami bird at the diner.
The representation seems to be the goal, and I LOVE it. When Love left, there were so many speculations about his departure, and one of the things might be that the concepts they were doing weren't accepted by family members and those he was close to. I could totally see that angle, and this type of explanation, lyrics, and video from gorgeous Yoojung seem to say "I see you, I understand you, you're okay in my book." It feels so representative and supportive of a community that -- regardless of whether group members are part of the community -- isn't well-represented, isn't accepted in SK (was going to say "like in Western cultures," but we see where we are there!). I ADORE the tension between these two, and the fact that all their side content has them doing fun things together. They're obviously very comfortable together, and it's spectacular to me, because we don't see enough of it in the West. It's always sexualized, and I like that this tension isn't. KB looks a-freaking-mazing with the long hair, and that vest at the beginning really emphasizes his wide shoulders and narrow waist. Gah. I enjoyed this so much. Thanks for sharing it!
what makes this extra special to me is that this is his solo and he could've chosen any topic, any theme for this but he chose to make a song for the lgbtq+ community and during pride month as well!
queer stories are clearly something the members care about and want to tell, no matter the backlash. they could've backed down after libido, they could've ended it when the instinct albums were done but they didn't and you can just tell how genuine they are about this.
and they never shy away from the topic either, openly talking about playing queer couples, reading and responding to comments from queer fans, saying that their group has a "gender-neutral charm",...
i really appreciate them doing all of this, especially in such a homophobic country and industry, they give queer people a safe space and that means so much to me and so many others

Also thanks for saying their relationship could or could not be a thing. We can't make assumptions but I really don't like it when people call it queerbaiting or say that they're "straight as far as we know" because we really don't know, and like you said it's not our business and if it's not a thing then I'm glad they're comfortable and supportive. I also agree that Yoojung did well on this song, it's actually my favorite out of the 3 solos that have been released so far. But they're all great so props to Kyubin and Nine for that (as well as the other producers)
