Any day that you get to see Jimmy Page on stage with a guitar in his hands is a good day.
Everybody shut the hell up and turn down, Jimmy Page is playing and we want to hear him.
sickb2200 yeah I know right
IFKR
I'd kill to meet JP. Such a magical catalog of work. Short and so sweet no fluff, pure gold. Words cannot describe the rock legacy he has built.
“Never meet your heros you’ll be disappointed “ Ross Halfin
It's nice to see Jimmy get appreciated for his music while he is still alive. That usually don't happen to much! Good for him!
Unfortunately, still the last time we've seen Jimmy playing live. Hope he can give us some more magic before it's too late!
You and me both man, and a million others I’m sure lol 😂
shame we had nothing from page in over 20 years a part from the 02 gig in 2007 really sad
@@roywatson8133 not true
@@Alfie02 so what have we had them
@@roywatson8133 he's released solo albums, toured his solo work, reunited with plant for albums and a few tours, reunited as zep twice. All before the o2. So yeah
So cool to see William Duvall at the very end approaching Jimmy to autograph his JP portrait book. Even the rock stars are just rock fans in the end.
That is Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick
Jimmy has still got it
Living legend of the guitar. yes! thank you Jimmy. The best!
Everybody is the best there, singers and guitars 🎸!
William Duval can't take his eyes off Jimmy. He's like a kid in a candy shop. So sweet!
Wow! Jimmy Page, almost today! I don't think he will, ever not bring it on. One day, the music will stop, but as for now, where everyone I know lives anyway... it lives and breathes fire and misty mountain hoppin' and stairways to climb, from places such as this clip. *sigh*
Jimmy always ready to play Zep tunes.... Look at how much fun the boys are having Rick Nielsen is having a ball!
Well hell.. Jimmy Just gettin warmed up there.. His guitar playing facial movements kicked in & he was into.. So beautiful to see👌👌👌
My dream has finally come true! Paul Rodgers is singing Led Zeppelin!
jimmy is ready! he should pick the first singer for a tour!
+DelicateSoundOfThund Jimmy is always ready!
+DelicateSoundOfThund legends are always ready!
+DelicateSoundOfThund
The 'first singer' is Paul Rodgers, of Bad Company, who toured with Jimmy Page in a band they shared, called The Firm.
+Lord David pretty sad, he's not even mentioned, he almost saved Page from his fate of remastering Zeppelin for the rest of his life.
+DelicateSoundOfThund Damn, i would give everything to see Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers live...
Jimmy on stage with one of his real life best mates, Paul Rodgers. Not even Jimmy's axe, but he teaches that guitar new lessons. Imagine what that is worth! Jimmy is God and I can prove it!
So pleased that Jimmy's still hungry for it...like he's got a new lease of life.....the lights are still on..........but he's back in the house now.Love to see him write some more new material with Led Zeppelin .Their music is Timeless. and Jimmy Page is The Absolute Master of His Craft.
Hi everyone !!! Thanks much ! And thank you Jimmy !
I just let it run (most people forget to film fun stuff between songs).
Tried to stabilize video as best as I could.
What a night !
+TacomaPaul Thanks for the footage. How did you get to attend the show?
Jim Rafferty
EMP sent out emails to members. And after some corporate people bought up most of the tables, there were a few seats at tables left. Barely got one.
That is really cool. Thanks.
+TacomaPaul - could you update the text for this great video with the cast of all the stars...like Barrett Martin and Andy Coe? :)
Duff from GNR was the bass player on the left
Dude, thank you so much for filming this and posting it! Here in the UK, what started for me as a dreary winter Friday has been completely lifted.....I met Jimmy in 2005 at a Charity fundraising cocktail evening in London, and other than my Wedding Day it was the best day of my life having been inspired to play guitar from 13 years old ; in fact ultimately the picture of that meeting is what prompted my Wife to message me on a dating site when we were both single. Power of music eh! Keep rocking and have a great weekend! Martin
+martin norman
My pleasure indeed ! I met him earlier in the night (check my "Meeting Jimmy Page" video), and shook his hand. Then at about 2:49 in this video he walked by and gave a "low five" on my left hand with his left.
Both hands have been touched by the Master. Heheh !
A cluster fuck of greatness.
How the hell did I not know about this? I would have went! Damn it!
Wow, a ton of talent on that stage. Pretty amazing - pretty special. Wonderful to see Jimmy playing. Thanks for posting.
Page and Cantrell - my two heroes in one stage!
I loved Jimmy's solo album 'Outrider,' hopefully the next one he creates will be even better!
Thanks to whoever recorded and uploaded this and gave everyone a chance to see this! Fantastic!
holy crap! Why didn't know about this? damn!
The Gods have Spoken and sent one of their own to earth , The One and Only Mr. JIMMY PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nirvana's bassist bassist is thinking, "Fuck playing, I'm getting some fucking awesome Jimmy Page pictures.Yyyyyeeeeessssss!
Like Jimmy Page has said, he is anxious to play live again. I guess this is his re-entry into the live scene. You have to admit that Paul Rodgers is still a great vocalist. Thanks to Paul Allen - a true fan of the electric guitar.
5 years later, but where and when did he say that?
OMG!! JIMMY PAGE!!!!
+Elaine Chan
I KNOW RIGHT !!? (Check out my "Meeting Jimmy Page" video from that night.)
And it's his birthday today...... Jan. 9.
+TacomaPaul Thanks!! You are so so so lucky!I!! I will check it out! YES, it is his birthday today :DDD
Class act will always be my guitar hero the complete guitarist / composer rock on Jimmy.
congratulations, JIMMY PAGE.....whoever you are...
i honestly expected a bigger reaction when he came out
WOW, really amazing jam session! Thanks for sharing
Page is GOD!
Great job TacomaPaul. We JP lovers appreciate it.
Anch'io da fan di Jimmy ho il suo libro ( e anche The Anthology) come vorrei avere il suo autografo!!😭😭 Ancora un gran bell'uomo a 71 anni 🔥🔥🔥
Jimmy's coming back.... :)
+Dayan Hochman YES he is!!!
Except for a few wobbly years in the early 80s, Jimmy Page has never left.
+Dayan Hochman he never left
+Dayan Hochman yes indeed, and he'll amaze all of us with some brand new riffs and beautiful music - suddenly the World is a much brighter place today - "the music of the streets shall be returned from whence it came " - you know, already in a short space of time people from different parts of the world are United through music - perhaps the onus is therefore on us all to spread vibes of global peace? Utopian view, I know, but hey what a difference we could make!
This is the Future calling…and Jimmy is still MIA
A great piece, rock n roll is such a monster, never gets old, to get JPP on stage isn't easy. This is real joy to watch, 5 years ago thou...and I recently read that Mr. Page has announced that he is most likely done playing live...a sad time, maybe that young chippy of his can change his mind...
Absolutely hands down the best player arranger producer ever on this planet.. I would love to see another from a different realm
i wonder if mr Allen plays the Hendrix Strat often??...Love this, Great to see Pagey up there! 👏🏻🌟
Should be the core of a touring band with Jimmy. Love it! NT
Too cool ! . but what a shame the soundman didn`t turn a legend`s guitar solo up louder.
so fkn cool that must've been a blast.really good core group btw
Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers... man, they should be in a band and on tour right now. :)
Ho-lee...John Hogg, you've just gained a new fan! Barrett the machine delivers as usual.
Jimmy in 2016 is expected to issue a solo album! It will surely be a work worthy of the Master !!!
Never happened lol
Still nothing 2023
Bloody hell Krist is still jumping the way he did in the Nirvana days, can't say the same for the selfie stick though haha.
I think the other guitarists could've unplugged and sat down in the audience for this one
Thanks for getting this on video !!
You cut off Jimmy signing the book....the performance was great but I liked all the hand shaking and taking by the other musicians afterwards. and Jimmy signing the book. The real stuff, Thanks for the upload. Jimmy looks good, the intensity and drive is still there at 71...
+Joe Garchar
Yes... a lot of people forget to film stuff in between songs. Sometimes that's hilarious. Did a lot of that on my Pearl Jam videos from 2 yrs. ago. They used it on a compilation.
That was just too cool when William Duval came back with his copy of Jimmy's book to have him autograph it. I bought Jimmy's book too, how cool that would be to have an autographed copy of that incredible book. On a personal note Barrett Martin and I went to the same high school, he was a year or two behind me, we were in an English class at one point as I recall.
I'm convinced only 1/3 of these guitars and bases are actually 'on'. In every super jam.
All on, but most mixed way down.
+Len Quinn not helped by being recorded in one direction by a video camera mic
+davedave83 Basses
Jimmy frinken Page, just that alone was worth seeing.
Duff!!!! oh Duff... what a legend.
Just another night out at the pub eh' Jimmy !. That man is so cool !.
I wish i had been there. I love Jimmy.
Is that Paul Rodgers with Page on stage? Wow. Both still rocking great! Thanks for sharing this. Janis, Singapore
Really cool and great that Jimmy decided to go up on stage. Paul has a great voice and I honestly can't pick him out in this video. Barely recognized Paul Rogers and I have seen video with him looking like he does here before. Much thanks to the poster/videographer
page is still the only one who did the little fill during the main riff!
Awesomenessmaxumus! That looks like a fun night indeed!👍👌
Here comes the King ready to ride again.....
The iconic Krist Novoselic is there too
this is great thank u!
So disrespectful for everyone to not have turned down for Jimmy...I would have turned mine down to 1 while Jimmy was soloing. In a jam fellows listen to others, not yourself.
I love ya jimmy u changed it all brotha
Man/God!
my God can i believe that!!! he works lol
Kinda surprised he walked up to that putz Rich Robinson. He never looks happy on stage but Jimmy was loving this night.
camera work got off to shaky start, but you really pulled it together man
+Clancy Coburn
heheh... thx
jimmy page paul rodgers and friends did an immolating version of rock and roll
Sounded like jimmy nailed that solo
I am so proud of my friend Brian Wheat...I am giddy like a school girl. Go Bri! ♥
+shell Luccketta As a Tesla fan watching this video, I haven't seen BDub that animated since the '80's! :) You can tell that he's so tickled. Great to see!
Jimmy stole the show
Nobody just played the 7th diad all the way thru and they had 10 guitars!!!
Duff McKagan on the stage.
Partial reunion of THE FIRM...
Thank you TacomaPaul.
+Laurie Campbell
OH, my pleasure !!!
Tacoma Paul...Thanks for sharing this great video with us! Just crazy about both Page and Rodgers. Would really like to know who's the long-haired guy on guitar next to J.P. ???
+gypsyladee55
I think it's Andy Coe ? Seattle guy.
awesome!
Awesome. My ex Hubby works @ EMP wonder if he was there. Brian Podgorny
I wish they would do this now it's almost 2020 no.page album or tour . Maybe they (other musicians) Could inspire page to play again?!!!!
Krist Novoselic with the selfie stick, classless, play the damn bass!
Are you going to upload any of the other performances from the show? Interested in seeing Duvall's set with Cantrell and Thayil...
+tomj1969
Yes... will upload about 10 ? more videos. Be patient, as some will be shaky and then I have to stabilize them.
+TacomaPaul thanks Paul! Look forward to it.
Who is the sound guy who didn't turn Jimmy up for the solo?
sorry, I'm new to this rock and roll thing, is that black jack white singing?
Jimmy needs to form a band with Grace Potter and go rock the world
Just noticed this... at the end, music over speakers in the background is "The Last Time" by the Stones.
Odd choice.
Wow
Why doesn’t Jimmy Page play guitar anymore ? Most legendary guitarists play into their old age ?? What’s his deal ??
What is this award /EMP?
He looks sort of goofy nowadays so I actually underestimated one of my all time favorite guitar players (sorry to say)....he still FKG JAMS!
Was there a pro film crew there for maybe a HBO or DVD release?
+applemaggot
EMP had to have filmed it ! But as far as I know, this is the only complete version of this song. Rolling Stone posted it on their site.
Did you invite Jon Paul Jones? If you didnt im sure Robert did. BFFs... LOL
music begins at 4:40
Q-tip was in the way.
I can't hear nothing
who is anyone on this list ?
Takes three people to do Robert Plant’s job
This happened before the show..... ;-)
czcams.com/video/vxjdo1jBDJ8/video.html
what's that 1st song that's playing?
+Jim P
"Radioactive" by The Firm.... Paul Rodgers and Jimmy were in it. Also see my video of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" which is also by them... was played right before this.
