There was, ABA invented the 3 point line some time in the 60s wasnt adapted by the nba until the 80s

This dude played in the late 50's. He MIGHT have played a couple years into the 60's. The ABA didn't start using the 3-point shot until the LATE 60's. The NBA in '79. High Schools didn't have it.
