I’ve thought about this concept a lot. Clothes eventually get worn and thrown away or donated, we upgrade our phones and get rid of the old ones, even our skin and hair falls/sloughs off and is replaced with new ones every so often. It’s depressing but I like the way she brings it into perspective that our love and impact on the world is lasting :)
