- Deildartunguhver has the highest flow rate of hot springs in Europe. The hot spring pumps 180 liters (47 gallons) of 100°C (212°F) water per second, which is partially used to provide geothermal heating to homes in West Iceland.
The water at Deildartunguhver hot spring emerges at a constant 97 degrees Celsius (207 degrees Fahrenheit), making it incredibly dangerous for those who venture too close. Thankfully, there are a number of wooden walkways and observation points that lead you around the hot springs without putting you at any risk.

Nice have there been any silly people trying to touch the water?
I don't think so but once a visitor fell into the water and suffered serious burns.
