It's a great pedal. I'm a Kemper owner and it stacks up really well. The software sucks. I upgraded to V2.0.1 and it made the pedal unusable. I love the pedal, but I was going go send it back. Fortunately I was able to downgrade the software to V1.0.0 and the pedal was good again. As you are pointing out, there are bugs in the software. The pedal is great so I will live with the bugs for now, but I just hope NUX can sort it out and turn the pedal into what it should be . Thanks for your video, it confirms what I thought.
So you can back up individual user or factory presets to your hard drive and reload them individually to replace any preset slot on the user or factory side of the Trident hardware? If so, it sounds like the temporary work around is to be sure to save your favorite factory presets to your hard drive individually. That way when you write over one on the hardware you can always bring it back and put it anywhere you want. The way they should have designed it is to have the factory column of presets actually be on your hard drive. And you should be able to copy a preset in a column and paste it to a new location to overwrite a preset but without swapping. Cheers

NUX need to fix their Trident software and also add a full backup of ALL settings. This is ridiculous.
They need to re work the settings for sure.
