I dont understand why your body is plywood and my 2009 Epiphone Sg Special is mahogany with mahogany neck I did mods on mine also..new wiring harness..Tone and Volume pots..3 way Switch..Seymour Duncan in the bridge left the neck pickup stock I like the way it sounds ...Gotoh Turners

Did you pull the neck to see if its *real* mahogany?

I have the epiphone sg special mine has the numbers on the headstock I've checked a few out hate to tell you you have a knock off epiphone
