When I had messy acne breakout I would cut at the thickness, and apply its syrup contents on my face after cleansing. I did not know there was an effective way to cut aloe vera. This is amazing! I am going to try this for eating. Fortunately, my acne is gone since 8 years ago.
When I cut Aloe Vera, the same as this, I cut above the yellow part on the bottom, cut the spines, then soaked in cold water 2 times rinsing twice then filet it like a fish not wasting any Aloe, I would put it in a blender to liquify it that part I applied to me body and would drink some everyday, you can also put the ends and the skin in the oven, dry it out, put that in dehydrator make a powder pulverize it and and some drops of mineral oil add to the skin, I do NOT waste an ounce. Its all good. ENJOY...

i dont get it. pretty much every video ive watched on aloe vera says that its healthy and safe to eat but when i bought my plant it said not safe to eat. Are they just saying that so that if someone has a reaction to it that they dont get sued or is there another reason?

You can keep growing your aloe's to become big if you continue to up it's pot little by little! Otherwise you can order large aloes. Look into propagation with your succulents :)
