I have a question about the sweatshirts you sell. One is $30 and one is $40, what is the difference. I see the material its made from is different. Is one more stretchy than the other? I prefer a more stretchy sweatshirt vs a more stiff all cotton. Any help is appreciated!

For all asking what stabilizing means: Soft, chalky low grade turquoise material is put under pressure so it will absorb clear epoxy or plastic filler. This will harden and the piece can be cut, polished, and carved. Sorry, no native speaker.

Great video! I love it when you make videos like this, on different minerals. I did not know they had turquoise in Arkansas. That giant turquoise nugget you showed at the beginning was amazing, I never saw a nugget that big before. Some of the turquoise seemed very low grade, either crumbly, or porous. What % is of higher grade? I am excited about part 2, how much does stabilization cost? Does Avant Mining do it themselves?
Now that Matrix has mining experience, he is taking more of a leadership role, operating the excavator, and supervising the Crystal collector, sending down a pile of rocks, when he starts slacking off.

I have been to a torques mine in New Mexico. Most of the torques there was just chuck. The good torques has long since been mined out. I once went looking for Herkimer diamonds in Herkimer, New York. It seemed like all the good ones were gone there too. These places don't want the general public destroying their mines. If you want a good piece you buy one in their store.

Question for you Brian @TheCrystalCollector. What are the geological forces that came together to make Arkansas of all places such an epic place for digging amazing crystals and rare minerals like Turquoise and giant quartz? I mean it seems like Arkansas > anywhere else when it comes to rock hounding in the USA? What about the geology there made it such a special place with regards to rare minerals?

    • @TheCrystalCollector
