I grew up in Fort Kent. The North Maine Woods are my favorite place in the world.
Best episode in a long time!
Great show. I spend the week between moose seasons each year in the North Maine Woods grouse hunting. Beautiful place!
I think the video and photography is fantastic, I'd like to see more technical info discussed, shot size, gun used, and even food prep and recipes.
Been waiting for this one awesome video guys.
Best looking dog is that Gordon Setter.
I don’t know if you guys are open to suggestions, but I think I’d be a lot more interested in watching the show if there was footage from the shooter’s vantage point. Like a GoPro. There are almost no shots where you can actually see the bird go down on this episode, which may not be a big deal for some people, but it makes a huge difference to me.
Yeah I agree. I think the addition of ShotKam's or something like it would be great!
In case you haven't realized this isn't about killing.... it's about 'the hunt'😊
All you would see is stick and leaves. This is about as good as it gets for grouse hunting footage.
Great episode! However, I would like to mention that the Merrymeeting dogs are Deutsch Kurzhaars (the Original German Shorthair), not GSPs
💯💯💯👌
