Currently working towards my NVQ in barbering; I keep making the mistake of not giving myself enough room to blend! I think I’m taking my skin placement line and no guard too high, so that’s something I’m especially trying to work on recently. I would also love to see how you cut the top as that is something that I struggle with too! Specifically cutting round, and connections!
Not giving yourself enough room is a common mistake, I used to do that as well but I would keep my fades too low cause I was afraid to go too high. Best advice I can give is to DeBulk with a #3 Guard first before you put in your bald and half guidelines. That way you’ll know where your fade ends, so you can gage the room you have to blend a little better 🙏🏽

It’s hard to have close ups because of the camera angle I have to use so I can make reels for instagram AND CZcams but I will try !
