The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, known as the TotalEnergies 2025 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, will be the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations. If this tournament will be held on midseason (January-February), it will be only 1 year since this tournament in Ivory Coast, just like 2012 and 2013 tournaments.
lovely stadiums some of them will be upgraded the timing of the AFCON 2025 was supposed to be in June/July 2025 however that clashes with FIFA new world club then so not sure whats happening in regards to timing

I will give you detailed information about the next year's AFCON in Morocco 2025.
Remember that when Morocco was named as a original host of the 2015 tournament back in 2011? Yes, the country was supposed to stage that year's AFCON. Just a few months before the 2015 tournament had began in Morocco, a deadly Ebola virus outbreak crippled the entire African countries, including the North Africa, and the local government had even requested the postponement of the tournament until the country was safe from the virus. CAF rejected Morocco's proposal on the deadline day and they decided to stage the 2015 tournament in Equatorial Guinea. This country was initially got disqualified from playing in the 2015 tournament after being found guilty of fielding an ineligible qualifiers, similar to how Denmark qualified for the Euro 1992 due to Yugoslav's ban (and won the entire thing). Morocco was even disqualified for the future AFCONs, including the 2015, but CAF decided to lift the ban for the future AFCONs after the appeal was heard. The 2015 tournament held in Morocco will take place on 4 different cities: Rabat, Agadir, Marrakesh, and Tangier.
Of course, CAF's decision to award Morocco as the 2025 host happened after Guinea was expelled for the hosting rights due to the alleged non-compliance of the specifications, mainly the stadium infrastructures.
By hosting the 2025 tournament, Morocco will have a big chance to stage a bigger events in football, as they were selected by FIFA as a co-hosts of the World Cup in 2030 along with Spain and Portugal (the centenary event was also held in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay).
The rabat stadium got demolished and now its getting rebuilt from 0 it'll be woth 70k capacity fully covered with no running tracks same goes for tangier stadiums no running tracks and fully covered
