Can we talk about the fact that the only other time we've seen an Emperor's Blade outside of cutscenes was in a single stage where two of them appeared, debuffed Talulah, then casually fucked off, with them basically being invulnerable 'WHAT THE FUCK' incarnate because you can't even put anything resembling a dent in them before they leave. And then this event comes along and has you actually fight *ONE, BY ITSELF.* And it's able to bypass death immunity. If Hypergryph's goal with the Emperor's Blades was to make them lowkey *absolutely terrifying,* I think they succeeded, and this is through *gameplay alone.* We're not even talking about in cutscenes- we don't have translations for them yet.
Kal'tsit + monst3r capable to fight one,if only this monster doesn't have a fucking aura and something something demon if the mask destroyed she capable to kill it with like heavy injuries(though monst3r is fine)

I think what rizky andhika mean is frostnova’s tile lock. everyone can pretty much survives FN’s attack with healers, even matoimaru can just stand still and blocks her very long with S1. but nothing can stop an operator from force undeploy if frostnova decided to freeze the tiles that the operators standing on. Exceptions to FN in 4-10, we can cancel her tile freeze with shift operators there if i remember a video.

He applies dark mist to whoever harms him the most, and attacks using AOE Arts. To anyone else it's just Arts, but to operators inside the mist it's an instant kill regardless of invincibility.

A boss that's purely made to counter Surtr would have a talent that makes their RES fixed, as in it can't be decreased by any means. This one is definitely not the case when the evidence is right in front of you that Surtr can still be used to cheese this boss in a 3 man squad kekw.
Phantom clone have a special redeployment time The redeployment time still count even if the clone still on the field. So the clone can even immediatly available right after it was killed or retreated

First, the fog is super annoying to deal. It target the ally that deals the most dmg, (anywhere in map) It reduce the attk spd of the allies in it and deals 100% of of his atk and convert it into art dmg. Stun and silence imun. It also reduce the physical and arts dmg receive so huge blow nerf for Sutr. The instant KO attk also making it kinda hard to deal with (Blaze, Specter, Sutr can't survive either). And his second phase buff his atk, atk range, if blocked it will deal 2.5x of his atk as physical dmg. But the def is low so even Phantom can somehow manage to kill him
This boss has an attack that releases a permanent black fog at certain hp%, and has a special move which really hurts. If the special attack hits any operator inside the black fog, it’s an insta-kill

Not that high....well quite high but not super The reason surtr dead are because of his ability. Everyone that got hit by his ability and was in the black fog will instantly die. So if they are not in the black fog they only get damaged
I think it's more to do with trying to counter the guard class in general. The best,most OP of them all has high atk/dps and survivability. Sure there are outliers like mudrock,scene and weedy but most of the problem units are found in that class. HG knows they can't do nerf/buff without gaining the ire of the playerbase(see any netmarble/nexon gacha) so they have to balance it on their end. Honestly, they are doing a well enough job of balancing the game without making lower end units impossible to use(Durin/F12/Rangers still see use, afterall) but they still have a long way to go if they want to end the reign of Guardknights.
