Sounds like you only gave the range for the ES1L is the range better on the e22? I am about same weight as what you are saying.

Yes that is correct - the range on both of these is similar as due to their price points they have the same/almost the same size batteries. On completely flat level land I managed 7 to 7 and 1/2 miles on the ES1L and managed very similar to that on the E22.
There are minute differences in the electric motors, with the ES1L having a 250 watt motor, and the E22 having a 300 watt motor.
The the most important thing I can offer is to go map out your route that you would travel most frequently with your scooter; in fact go look at the top five routes you would take and compare how many hills/how many downhills and so on as the uphill travel is what really consumes your battery.
