- In this video, I am going to show you how to crochet a hexagon blanket. We will start by making some hexagon tyles, then join them together and I will give you an idea for a border as well.
This hexagon blanket is easy to make as you can make it tyle by tyle, one on a commuter trip, one on the beach, one on an afternoon in the garden etc...

Hi there! I really love this - I especially like the look of the dainty cluster. I would like to make this in a combination of pink/grey/white. Please could you also show us how to make a half-hexagon so that the blanket has straight sides? Many thanks in advance. xx
You would have to turn your work and go back and forth on the side tiles so you may want to adapt the full tiles and do the same so they all match!
Now you have tempted me again. This looks like fun. I do love how you very slowly explain each stitch. You have a lovely voice and I enjoy watching your videos just for the relaxing enjoyment of it. You do make it look very easy, but then you are professional. When I follow your instructions I am successful. Thank you so much.

Wow I love it. If you do the hexagon in darker blues reds green yellows, connect them with black it will give a stained

I love using SSDK yarn. Bought the color guide also so I could plan projects. I order from Wool Warehouse with easy delivery to the USA with express delivery. I use a 4.5 hook with it.

Oh I did want to know how much mocha did you use? Did you also make two mocha tiles? It appears that you would have but wondering if 50 grams is enough to attach everything or if another skein is needed?

Making larger tiles definitely makes it easier for joining, although I do love the look of the small ones!
This would be nice to do for summer. It was 98 degrees yesterday and we had to drive 500 miles. I usually crochet in the car but I only had a blanket with me and I was too hot.

These are downright brilliant!!!!! I love them; I’ve been trying to figure out the granny version (three dc clusters) and they never ever balanced well. I will have to request half ones too eventually if you can?? I like the evenness it would creat!! You’re brilliant Anja!!!

I use 2 Ch as i find that sufficiently high for my stitches otherwise the 3ch is just too tall….

That depends on how big you want your blanket to be. The smaller the blanket, the less yarn is required; the bigger the blanket, the more yarn is required.
