When he was playing right field mookie was more deserving and after mookie went to the dodgers judge started playing center. He's not a gg center fielder, there's defensive wizards in center.... He could win one in rf in the al now if he switched back
Judges fielding metrics take a hit because he isn't fast, but I don't think the metrics account for his height and reach. He doesn't seem to have issues getting to the play, largely because he has such a long reach, he can afford to get to the ball later than anyone else. How he hasn't won a gold glove is beyond me, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't even been named a finalist ever.
