Does the machine do cursive? Or is it just printing? I just purchased a Brother and will be returning it today. One of the reasons being that it doesn't do cursive.

Once you have the design digitized, either by yourself using software or have it done by someone else, you can add the design to the USB. The software provided on Singer's site allows for basic manipulation of the images only-it's not digitizing software. I have this machine and I love it.

The embroidery machine will automatically cut the thread when it is time to change the thread color. - KH

Yes you can! We suggest using a wash away stabilizer under your fabric. have fun!
