  • Many people trooped out from far and near to celebrate the Osun Osogbo festival held in Osogbo. The celebration was on for days with the concluding part of it done at the groove where sacrifices were offered to the river goddess for her benevolence and faithfulness to her people.
    Several men and women testifies to the goodness of the goddess. They attested to her answering prayers and taking care of their needs. In this interview with Temitope Olaiya and Emmanuel Osodi, catch up on all the juicy part of the festival and how people worshipped her.

    To all christians complaining in the comments: They are not the same, obviously, but they share similarities, both are devoted and caring mothers, for example.
    I think Osun followers have in themselves more of this loving character that both Osun and Mary possess, than christians, btw... some to reflect upon. Be the change you want to see in the world.
