  • Jam Pedals RetroVibe MKII has undeniable flower power. The Greek builders at JamPedals built the stompbox in the style of the Shin-Ei Univibe, and it comes fully loaded with all the options a player needs to nail that classic vibe sound. Watch as Andy plucks the petals with this fine new pedal.

    Don't know why I do this to myself. EVERYTIME I watch Andy play a pedal, I have to buy it. He makes everything sound great!!!

    Sick sounds Andy!! I've wanted you to demo this pedal, and any of JAMS effects for a long time. They're making some quality stuff in Greece.

    the star of this show is that bee-u-tee-ful G&L Legacy! But this pedal is also beckoning to my credit cards' available credit.

    This pedal has a "Deeper Throb" vs the Drybell Vibe Machine, which sounds slightly more Phasey. Both sound incredible. Andy needs to get his-hands on The Shiftee Vibe (dare I say) Improved over The Original - you have gotta hear it. Runs @ 24 volts.

      Drybell univibe?

    • @wayfaerer320
      @wayfaerer320 Před 6 lety +2

      The Drybell is a good vibe, but the Jam Pedals Retro Vibe sounds more vintage and has a much lusher thicker sound. You'd have to play them side by side to hear it, but I definitely can.

    • @wayfaerer320
      @wayfaerer320 Před 6 lety +4

      That's another good vibe, but again, it doesn't have the same lush thickness the Jam Pedals Retro does (not to mention it's even more expensive). The Jam Pedals has this throb that is just so intense, thick, and lush. I just personally haven't found anything else that can compete with it in those regards. Obviously, this is all personal preference. Just my opinion. And to be honest, this video doesn't even do the Retro Vibe justice - it sounds so epic in person.

    I wish they would juice the power, you can hear its sounds like 9 volts. I wonder if you can use 18 volts with this pedal?

    • @markrehling3141
      @markrehling3141 Před 5 lety +6

      The pedal ramps up the voltage to 15v internally. 15v is what the original vibes ran at apparently.

    NOS = New, Old Stock parts. Pronounced N, O, S. Otherwise folks will be looking for a brand-name NOS, which does exist, but for the automotive world.

      You would think so, but noobs come along every day. Just adding a bit of clarity. Besides, Andy said "nos" like a word instead of the acronym. Noobs get confused by stuff like that.

    I love my Retro Vibe pedal but the speed pedal is a junky piece of crap! You have to use their pedal, it's not set up that one can use a 3rd party pedal of their own choice. Very disappointing from a company that makes great gear. Why could they not make a more gig worthy pedal? Something nice and sturdy instead of this junk

      I don’t know, seems to me they make extremely high quality stuff and charge a higher price than the mass manufactured chinese made pedals. You get what you pay for in most cases.
