Imagine that spider had a little more strength in itself to bit not just Peter, but his friends too, that little bugger ain't satisfied with just one spider-totem. XD
I have an What if Idea
-What if Peter parker saw Mj as Just a Friend instead of a Crush,like focusing on being a Hero to protect the city.
-What if Tom spider turned Evil?
-What if Peter joined the Vulture in home coming?
-What if Doomsday Was In the Mcu?
-What if Suicide Squad was In the Mcu?
-what if Tobey Maguire became a Green lantern?
Two other interesting scenarios could be Flash Thompson and Ben Parker.
Flash wasn’t all the developed in any of his film incarnations with only Mark Webb’s iteration getting to finally be something other than a basic jock-bully stereotype when he demonstrated he had the capacity for compassion and genuine friendship when attempting to console Peter and offer condolences after Ben is killed. Some creative liberties can be taken with Raimi’s Flash, adding his troubled home life from some of his comic and animated iterations to add context to his brutish behavior, a struggling youth forced to compensate for domestic, financial and educational difficulties with his strength, aggression and athletic abilities. Adding spiderpowers to the mix coupled with a maniacal, power-obsessed supervillain with a god complex and you can take the character in a multitude of directions, from exploiting his power just as Goblin does, to being left cowering and subservient to someone stronger than him in not just body but in mind and will, to overcoming the bully he used to be and a proxy for Flash’s abusive father in Goblin.
Then there’s Ben, who of course is an honorable, if overly idealistic man, almost obsessed with the concept of responsibility as a dedicated working class man who, as of late, has been recently laid off and now struggles to find work, while also being in the waning years of his life. Then, all of a sudden, he’s given a new body far better than he ever had in his youth and an opportunity to do something more with his life, great power to complement his focus on responsibility, along with an enemy that embodies every he stands against. But how would all this affect his home life, his relationship with his wife and nephew? How would he react to suddenly having the power he has as someone who is far older and more experienced because of his age? Would he be able to justify his need to break laws in order to keep others and his family safe? How would he be able to reconcile his feelings of responsibility with his obligation to his family? And what happens when his enemies end up being people he knows, people with families of their own? Of all the people to become Spiderman, Ben could have some of the most interesting avenues to explore, as an idealistic man is put in less than ideal situations just as Peter and so many other Spider-Beings have.

Absolutely love this, MissedthePart! I miss your what ifs, it's been while.
The possibilities with this What if. I see comments that people have named Peter's, Mary Jane's and Harry's Spiders The Spider-Trio or the Spider-Heroes, Spider-Warriors etc etc. Love this! It's like with Sonic Heroes with Sonic, Tails and Kunckles. Or other superhero trios teams.
Man, I wasn't expecting the events of Peter, Mary Jane and Harry getting bit by the spider happen this way. But it was interesting and fascinating storyline. So much serious moments that easily went in a different direction like Peter with wrestling match motivation, Mary Jane getting cripple and being an Oracle like figure and Harry going down a dark and conflicting path with his father's "mentorship".
I would love to see a sequel happen. I want to see what happens with Harry in Spider-Man 2. I love the idea Harry having his own in-depth characterization separate from Peter and Mary Jane and be so much more than "the guy in the third wheel".
Part of me wished Norman/Goblin had lived and wondered what his dynamic with the Spider-Trio in the later movies would've been liked. I never seen that happen before in any what if, I hoping it would happen in this what if but it is what it is.
