Its amazing. I grew up in Denmark Europe, among peers from different Muslim countries while Somali myself. Even though we come from humble backgrounds we have the Islamic cameradery, respect, and love. When it’s among each other, we just know it’s like that always. Pray for our ummah ♥️

I thought Weili won against Rose, and Usman had a close fight against Colby. Gaethje is on a 1 fight winning streak... It's like Floyd said "both my dad and my uncle Roger trained me (50-0), and neither one of them won a coach of the year award ever"... Too much politics...

Quality beats quantity in this, rather have 1 champ than 5 undefeated prospects. Prospects aren't proven, they're prospective champ/top fighter. A champ is a champ
By that logic a coach at ATT or Sanford MMA probably has the most high level prospects in the ufc
also, to be fair, Khabib, although held up the division for a while, did not fight last year.....and Islam just broke into the top 5.........

Shamil is the lion of Dagestan, shamil is a legend and one of Abdulmanaph Nurmagomedov's first pupils, Shamil even once feed baby Khabib in his arms and stopped him from crying and Shamil was the one who first taught him his first submission before being taught by father.
One time in the mountains village us kids would swim in the flood gates, very dangerous for swimming little Khabib wanting to be like big brother shamil almost drowned but Shamil saved him
Even though Khabib is UFC champion Shamil will always be the real champion in the eyes of the eagle 🦅

@@Algojo No, i just remember asking Khabib at AKA after training back in 2012 who was his idol growing up in Dagestan.
Shamil is a Legend in dagestan and is master of sports and has street name after him in local villager Sildi. Same childhood village as Khabib who also has street name in Sildi village.
Shamil remember Khabib and Islam first steps in the gym.

I have major respect for coach Javier, he dosnt even include himself in the discussion for greatest coach although he clearly has major achievements in coaching champions in the UFC. Really humble and honest throughout the entire discussion, makes sense why coach Javier and Khabib work together and why the Dagestani guys have a lot of respect for coach Javier.

Khabib’s fight IQ, reaction time/timing/head move/pressure/ cage - distance control is on another level!!!
But Islam is better than the current LW’s imho and will become champ soon ☝️
He’s definitely a complete fighter a very strong opponent for anybody in the LW.
Idk. Islam's fight IQ is becoming legendary. Less than .8 strikes absorbed per minute across like 11 fights. Khabib had an extraordinarily low SApM, but it was still over twice as much as Islam's. Had Islam not got caught with a hook nor had a super early stoppage (he looked pretty ok considering he got dropped), he would still be undefeated, and he would be even more highly touted than Khabib.
You forgot. Khabib's chin. Mackachev's one loss was a shot khabib probably could have taken and not get knocked down. Khabib took worse shots from Gatheje

I did saw that post you’re talking about it was 0.79 Sapm #1 in the UFC but that’s it and doesn’t mean he has a better fight IQ ?!?
You could argue about head movement distance control maybe but even than the competition he faced isn’t the same as Khabib had, he got hit by Barbosa, Gaethje, Poirier, M.J and without significant damage and didn’t even lost those rounds.
Khabib had in many matchups less weapons than his opponent and managed to dominate and win the fight, thats fight IQ!
Islam is great but I still think Khabib wins against Islam if they would’ve fought and only due to his fight IQ
Btw I know that will never ever happen also Islam had many sparring sessions with Khabib and I heard Khabib was winning the majority of time 🤷♂️
