Record Sabre 350 - My new bandsaw

- For a long time I was planning to replace my small bandsaw buy a bigger and good quality one. After alot o research I decided to by the Record Power Sabre 350. I ordered it online from Lombarte Group, no issues, no delays. The saw was properly packed and delivered to my door.

I have done exactly the same. setting up is a two person job. it all looks very simple but the whole saw including wheels comes to over 160kg. cant wait to try it out.

Hi! just wondering what is that black plastic on the very top of the saw on the right side ? Can it be removed ? thanks :)
That is a plastic cap to hide/protect the saw guide rail arm when it goes all the way up.

A bit to expensive for my budget sadly.. but if I would order it online I would compare prizes first.
Directly at Record Power (999 pounds) 1.114,77 Euro, at Babtist: € 1.197,00 and also at DM Tools and Yandles for 1.114,77 Euro, 1299.99 at My Tools, 1199.00 at Meyer Tools etc. So it seems these are all sold between 1114 and maximum 1300 at online shops.. instead of the € 1,450.79 at Lombarte!
But I guess the bandsaw is a good choice and maybe Lombarte is the easiest place to order when you are in Portugal. Oh... ha, wrong beer though, I'm more of a Sagres drinker (*o*)

Well you need to take in consideration the prices outside uk. Record uk e.g don't ship it to Portugal. Lombarte was the best choice for me. Cheers
